You went through episode after episode of Welcome Home with your childhood friend, Wyatt, insisting that Wally had been speaking to you out of the script but the further on you went the more Wyatt began to get fed up with your antics.
"Listen, buddy, I know you really want to prove that some pixels and colours on your TV are talking to you but I think you're just imagining things." He gently rubbed your back, "Let's stop alright? It's getting pretty late." You grumbled in protest, he just wasn't getting it! Wally really did speak to you, he was alive and he was trying to make that clear to you so why wasn't he doing it now? "Just a few more episodes! Maybe he's shy and doesn't want to speak yet because you're here now!" He sighed, deciding to humour you for a little while longer. "Okay, fine a few more episodes and if he doesn't speak to either of us then I'm leaving," Wyatt stated as you grinned at him. You popped another tape into the VHS player and so began your next round of binging episodes waiting for something off to happen. Wyatt had started to look irritated, he started to think your whole Wally talking to you rant was just to get him over to your house so that you could force him to watch cartoons with you. He looked down at his watch and then at you, your eyes had become half-lidded and you were swaying back and forth. "Buddy...you look tired I think we should just call it quits and go to sleep. This really is a waste of time you know." You shook your head, "I'm not tired not yet. Wally hasn't spoken to us yet, we have to keep watching!" It was hopeless your body felt heavy and your eyes had trouble staying open. "Here's what we'll do, we'll watch until we fall asleep okay?" Wyatt offered to which you happily obliged. At this point, it kind of was just watching the episodes you two had grown up on instead of hunting for Wally acting strangely. The two of you shared tired laughs at whatever seemed funny to you and you quietly sang along to the small musical numbers that occurred through the episodes, it was like old times when the two of you would have sleepovers and wake up early on Sunday to watch it together before either of your parents woke up. You were so focused on the show that you didn't realize that Wyatt had fallen asleep already he always looked so much more peaceful when he slept and looking at him just made you want to go to sleep more, stretching out and letting your body take over the process of getting you to dreamland, As your eyes fluttered closed and your mind drifted elsewhere the last words you heard were "Goodnight neighbour..~" Smooth sweet words uttered by the puppet you were trying desperately to prove had spoken to you prior to Wyatt coming over, Wally Darling.
This is probably going to be a shit show. This is based on a song I made during a bloody state test, pain and suffering to me and to all. Weee Wally torture.
