C5: The Sun Sect's Lady Miss?

Date: November 26- December 18 2021

Time: 7:53 pm- 7:46 am

"Sun Hei Shen"

I didn't reply instead I'm more curious about how she knew I'm not her companion. Maybe from my voice or...

"How did you know that?," I asked, extremely curious.

She's silent then. I thought she planned not to talk at all 'cause she don't like talking to strangers or worse she's mute. But after about a quarter of an incense stick or shichen (30 minutes) she spoke something hilarious and annoying at the same time.

"Since I became blind my hearing ability will get better and better. I use it to sense danger and navigating my surroundings. Also, you smelled like the bandits we encountered... earlier? Smelled like rotten fish. Sorry but forgive me young sir for my blunt provocation but it's the truth."

I don't know if she was truly provoking me!? Or she's just naive and fool for saying that?

I always keep myself clean! There's no day that I didn't take a bath! I also didn't miss to change clothes every half a day! Dang! Is she insulting me?!

"What are you? A dog? And how good are your sense of smell? Strong? You actually know I'm with the same people of my father's sect, you little blind and crippled lass?!," I bickered, fuming with rage.

It seemed like she doesn't like what I said. I can see some bulging vines in her pretty face. Who would like being hitted the nail at their disadvantages? Of course, no one.

"Young sir, may I ask you? What sect will do such disgraceful act? Don't sect like to act high and mighty and pretends to be good at people's eyes? Even if they weren't, they wouldn't do it openly?," her tone was calm yet chilling.

Eh?! I was taken aback.

"Hey! Hey! Girl! What do you mean by that? Those were bastards we-," before I finished she already cut me off.

"Yeah yeah! I understand. Those are the people of your sect that turned into harassing bandits running wild are uncontrollable," saying so nonchalantly, she waves her left hand a few times.

I can't refute what she said because it's true. Not long ago, many clansmen started to became bold. Bold enough to disobey father's orders and cause havoc inside and outside the sect's territory. Because of that, the sect reputation come downhill.

Heh! Would those bastards do that if there's no one instigated that? I doubt that.

Well, let me fix those bastards once I get out of this forest and go back to the sect.

"Young sir sended people to heal me?," she suddenly asked while inspecting herself. No bruise, scars or anything to her. She seemed fine. Quick recovery huh? How's that possible?!

"No," I answered honestly, calmly and shortly. Then I remembered that I have spare clothes at hand. I walked towards her direction.

"Here are some spare clothes. It maybe big for you because of your thin body but since that's the only clothes I can find in this shabby house in the middle of the forest so remember that you don't have a choice and don't you dare be picky!," I reprimanded her while putting the clothes in the bed without sparing a second glimpse of her.

"Better quick to change your clothes! We're leaving!," I huffed to her at once before I completely disappeared from her blind sight.

It's quite a long distance when I heard her warm and grateful words,"Well anyway, thank you, young sir!"

It also filled my heart with warm and overwhelming mixed feelings. Don't know why.

...

Another three days have been passed. We didn't encounter much demonic beast and that blind cripple's shadow guard do so much help in killing those demonic beast so our speed fastened twice the normal speed.

Finally, we're out of the Gu Liao Forest. At the foot of the forest, there, waiting, the two simple and crude but weird carriages with few people that were undoubtedly from the sect.

"Greetings to the young lord!," ceremonious greetings ranged out as soon as I appeared fifteen steps away from the carriages. They lines up in three rows and four columns pretty nicely.

I'm with those bold bastards slash father's subordinates that act like bandits harassing along the way. Wiggling like worms while being tied by rope around their body.

They're too annoying for me. So then, I put murderous glares at them. They became frightened.

They are now bowing their heads on shame. They are subject of curious, contemptuous, mocking and burning gazes of the other people from the sect.

What happened to the sect? This people were quite different from the normal sect's people. They don't have the same calm and fine temperament as what the Sect's people cultivated. They are powerful too. Did father send them?

Seemed like there are many questions that will remain questions 'til I returned to the sect.

I just waved my hand and they dispersed altogether with their bad glares. One open a carriage's door, indicating that I should come inside but I just stand still, not moving.

I'm waiting for someone. To be exact it's the blind cripple girl. I move faster than them so it seemed that they lost their way down to the mountain. It can't be help to wait cause she's still not here.

Where is she? I felt quite anxious. If she's not here how can I go back to the sect? Actually my mission this time is to bring the blind cripple girl fom Gu Liao Forest as per father's order. Don't know why though.

"Young lord! Forgive this shadow guard for making my young miss for coming late," this is her shadow guard. I don't know her name but if my memory serves me right, her name is Chuang Yao.

At last they came!

"It's alright. It doesn't matter so would your young miss like to..."

I looked at the blind cripple girl. Her eyes were still blindfolded by that same white piece of cloth three days ago. The blue robe she's wearing is large and even though it's ok it doesn't suits her.

She's been quiet since I gave her the clothes three days ago. I would really thought that she's mute if she keep doing that. Well of course the exeption is that she likes going out everyday and just came back before mealtimes and after that she'll going out to haze again.

She likes to go outside all the time and spending her time in sightseeing the flowers bloomed behind her trails. The one I amazingly discovered.

Three days time may not be enough for me to completely change my impression of her and I still keep calling her 'blind cripple' but it's fine at least I didn't utter those words to others nor for her to hear anymore.

She's so carefree and outgoing. She usually go out to bask under the sun every morning. Yet so mysterious. So many things beyond imagination about this girl.

But after all the keen observation of mine, I still don't even know her name. I forgot to ask or I don't want to ask to be exact...

She looked at my direction- no to me exactly as if she can actually see me.

"Forgive us young lord but we are not going with people that were stangers to us," Chuang Yao speak up in behalf of her young miss, the blind cripple girl.

"Don't be ungrateful! Our Young lord saved your young miss! You shouldn't spou-," his words were cutted off.

Huh? That butler told something quite not right.

"So you're saying that we should come with you because you save my young miss?," Chuang Yao asked while gritting her teeth. It seemed like shes somewhat angry.

"Didn't you know that your young lord said he didn't cured me?...It seemed like young sir is really slacking off in disciplining your own subbordinates. They even dared to spout lies! I swear that I dislike lies the most!," the quiet blind cripple girl for three days finally speak up but her words sting one's heart.

I felt quite ashamed of what she told me.

"Young miss, ah! Truly! This young lord failed to do my duty as a proper young lord. As their young lord I let them said whatever they wanted without restraint. I trully failed to discipline them. Forgive me for letting that happened," too ashamed, I asked for forgiveness. This act seemed outrageous ' cause I never apologize for someone I just got acquaintance.

I truly needed to go back to the sect right now and fixed the problem especially inside the sect. I don't want to be reprimanded by a little blind cripple girl anymore.

She jerks a little bit like she's shock but she immediately composes herself.

"Words of forgiveness seemed lacking don't you think young sir?," her one eyebrow arcs high, seemed a little bit displeased.

"What is young miss wants? Maybe this young lord can do something to have your wishes," I solemnly vowed to accept any request of her. My dignity doesn't truly matter though.

"Of course I want to see the Sect's Patriarch! I wanted to know why this people of yours were unrestrained. They are not behaving properly!," she answered, smirking.

Ahh~ that's great! I'm going crazy planning how to make her came with me to the sect. Fortunately she volunteered herself.

"Great! Young miss since I already planned to bring you to the sect I already finished thá2üe preparations," I said gladly.

"Anyway... Many thanks to the young sir!," she said stopping for a while. She then looked at my direction and smiled sweetly. Her smile is so blinding. I feel quite refreshed and relieved. Before I knew it I already facing her back as her shadow guard assisting her to go up inside one of the carriages.

Something's quite different from the others. I smiled troubledly while making my way inside of the other carriage. Then the entourage started moving after I'm inside...

(Third Person)

Arriving at the Sun Sect's territory is the two carriages. The Sun Sect was located between the four big and small mountains. The scenery inside were breathtaking. Full of vitality and spiritual qi. Good Feng Shui. Towering pagoda and pavilions were built around the place. And protected by a barrier from unexpected attack outside the sect's territory.

But why does it seemed the place was a little bit unusual.

"Young lord! This subordinate is here to inform young lord of the Sun Sect's Patriarch's order," a tall, wise and dignified man came in a strange clothing, a slight similar with Sun Hei Shen's, bowing and giving respect to Sun Hei Shen.

The color of the clothes is pale blue with intricate designs. There's a four big and small yellow rays of the sun surrounded by few clouds, the symbol of Sun Sect seen in his right side of the neck, his neck.

It's the head butler, Sun Wuyu. Loyal subordinate of Sun Yin Yong, Sun Sect's Patriarch.

"Young lord, the patriarch want to see you it's just... The patriarch...," the head butler Wuyu seemed hesitant to tell something.

"Head butler Wuyu...," Sun Hei Shen muttered the man's name in a threatening manner.

"Ah! Young lord this subordinate didn't deliberately stalls time to tell you but... Please save the patriarch!," the head butler cried out, kneeling on his kness to the ground, not minding how dirty it was.

"What happened to father?!," Sun Hei Shen is anxious, he somewhat yelled at the head butler.

"The patriach is bedridden! The patriarch may not live long!"

It seemed like Sun Hei Shen's world fallen and crushed. But there's something strange, very very strange! He mustn't fall too. Not at least he still doesn't know what truly happened.

"Where's father?," Sun Hei Shen immediately demanded head butler Wuyu.

"Young lord, please follow this subordinate..."

Then the head butler Wuyu stroved off. Sun Hei Shen hastily follows suit. His complexion is pale and anxious. Not knowing what to do Hua with Chuang Yao tag along too, having complexed emotions.

Their pacing very fast. Too many left and right turns like a maze before head butler Wuyu stops in front of the door. Two guards stand by. They look fierce and it seemed like they are ready to fend off anyone who wants to break in that room.

"First young lord?!... We greets the first young lord!," those two guards greeted the young man who is too worried about his father.

"Father?...?!," Sun Hei Shen barge in. Those two guards were trying to stop him but to no avail. It seems like Sun Hei Shen's cultivation improve much while he's away.

At last Sun Hei Shen came inside and revealed the big room. Ancient paintings in the wall, closed dark wood windows in two sides, antique furnitures and simple but lavish bed.

Upon his arrival, three young men turned their heads to looked at him with anguish.

"Eldest brother Hei! Father ... Father is.... he," one of those three young men walks to him hurriedly and cried.

How can this be? Two months away from home and coming back home just to hear such grive and bad news? How did this happen?! How did his father reduced into this?

Lying in the bed a middle aged man with bd complexion. He keeps frowning his eyebrow and gritting his teeth as if he suffered many difficulties in his life. And between his breaths, he continuously muttered, "Ah-Hei."

"You... I'm sorry to butt in but... Young sir, I, Hua, may have the solution to the patriarch's poisoning," Hua who was quietly watch everything unfolds as an outsider finally decided to give a helping hand.

"Who?!," the three young men suddenly became alerted. Drawing three swords at a time.

"Wait wait wait, young sirs let us talk in a peaceful way. No need for violence," it's quite a shock, suddenly drawing a sword in her neck. She spoke here to help not to fight, aish.

"Mu'er, Wei'er and Rei'er, don't worry she's not an enemy." Sun Hei Shen tried to calm down the three young men to bring back their swords to their own sheath.

"It's really... cough... you! Its really you! Ahem! Great I'll be save!," the middle aged man in the bed suddenly speaks.

Bewildered, the four young men asked," Father who are you talking about?"

"Ahh~... Yah! Young miss Hua, didn't you said I... cough... cough... I've been poisoned? You're right

"Brother, she will... can she really cure father?," one of the three young men asked.

"I don't know," Sun Hei Shen replied honestly.

How would he know? He never see her medical skills how can he make a hasty judgment...

"Sun Hei Shen"

I don't get it! Father must be insane! How can he take some unknown person in?! Don't tell me he still don't learned a lesson from last time he did that?!

Tsk! Father mustn't just insane but also blind! For all the time he bring people in the sect problems bloomed out.

Can he just just picked people wisely? He brought many weird people, really.

And now father want to accept that little blind, crippled and homeless poor girl.

Well, if we talk it nicely, I can say that she's quite good-looking and have great mecical skills. Except that she's blind it's no doubt that she'll grow into a fine beautiful woman.

Not just that, the most intriguing about her is that she didn't die when she was poisoned by purple glaze ganoderma. Just three days and nights in bed without consuming any medicine or foods she's still in good shape and also cured! Incredible, isn't it?

So mysterious and amazing how did she do that?

A week passed by like a blink of an eye since Hua did something and father recovered.

Father called everyone in the meeting hall and suddenly announced a shocking news!

He wants Hua to became his...

(Third Person)

"You...!," Chuang Yao wanted to angrily disputes with them but her young miss suddenly warned her.

"Chuang Yao!," Hua exclaimed.

"But young miss they were our enemy! Their people wanted to harm us ,remember? And now they.... they want young miss to became their lady miss?!," Chuang Yao refutes.

"Chuang Yao think about it, isn't it better to make more friends and allies than foes?," Hua thinks.

"Besides we still don't have a decent place to stay in why not take advantage of their offer? Besides we wouldn't lose anything right? Be positive!... It's great to be cautious but don't overdo it. I'll sometimes do more harm than good," Hua also evaluates...
