While all this was happening David is in his own thoughts.

'Before coming here I contacted Akira and told him to keep an eye on the Water hose couple. In these upcoming days, the water hose couple and Muscular fight, and the fight ends with the death of the water hose couple who are also Kota's parents. If they don't die then there are two possibilities either I will get two more pro heroes in the future during the summer camp ambush, Or else Kota wouldn't be there at all and that means Midoriya can be on the fight scene which will reduce my load to a great extent.' David was thinking when suddenly he heard his name.

"Next match David vs Gina." Aiko announced. Both the participants reach the ground and Aiko shouts "Start"

Gina's quirk lets her create a golden shield dome around her.

"Lets see how much time it takes you to break my barrier" Gina said while putting up her barrier.

"He might need to concentrate his power at a single point to break the barrier" Kozuki said while looking at Gina.

David walks towards the barrier in a relaxed manner. Pulls out one of his hands from his pockets and suddenly hardens his arm which has a blue aura surrounding it. He just swipes his hand diagonally just once and turns back to go to his position.

Everyone looks at him in a confused expression when he hear the sound of glass breaking and they see that the barrier is sliced diagonally and even Gina has a diagonal slash on her torso from where blood is flowing and she collapses on the ground.

"What was that? He just slashed his hand once" Kozuki said.

Everyone had a shocked expression on their face. The doctor came to the training ground and took the unconscious Gina on a stretcher. While Gina's parents also come towards the doctor

" Sir don't worry she just fainted due to the sudden jolt of energy. The slash across her torso is shallow. She'll wakeup in a couple of minutes" The doctor said to which Gina's parents breathe a sigh of relief.

"Dont worry Mayumi David knows how far to go." Sally said while holding Gina's moms's hand.

"Then do thank David for going easy on her" Gina's father said while Mayumi nodded with a smile.

"Now for the next round we will again use the same method to choose the matchups and the chit which remains will get a bypass to the next round.

James vs Momo

Genki vs David

Kozuki bypass to the next round.

The first match ended with James's victory as he had a quirk that can be used from a long distance. Momo tried her best but couldn't close the distance and in the end she surrendered.

The next match was Genki vs David. Both the participants came to the stage while the spectators were busy predicting what will happen this match.

"Who do you think will win?"

"Its hard to say we haven't seen David and Genki use their quirks in the past match" Katsumi said.

"I doubt David will use his quirk in this match" James said.

"You think David can win this match without using his quirk?" Kozuki asked.

"To be honest I cant say. As I told you before even I have never fought with David. Even though he is my younger brother, he gives me a feeling that I dont stand a chance against him" James said.

"I felt the same thing. Even his presense is heavy" Momo said when Aiko suddenly shouted "Start"

Genki ran towards David who was just standing. He activated his quirk which would create sharp blades on his arms. As Genki tried to slash those blades on David's chest David caught one of the blades with his bare hands. Genki was shocked "How-How did you?". David had coated his hand with his aura which protected his hand from the sharp blades. Before Genki could do anything David gripped the blade and pulled Genki closer and hit him with a knee in the stomach. Genki's eyes widened as he sat on his knees trying to breathe and surrendered.

"How did he catch the blade?"

"See his palm isn't even bleeding"

"Genki surrenders... David has reached the finals. Now Kozuki and James will fight and the one who loses will be ranked third while the winner will fight in the finals with David." Aiko announced.

From the past few years, James had developed a few moves from the ideas he received from David. One of his moves let him bend his lasers to catch his enemies off-guard.

Kozuki and James stood on the ground ready to fight. Kozuki's quirk let him use his hands as a drill so James's best bet was range attacks. James fired his laser and Kozuki sidestepped thinking that he dodged it, but the laser bent twice and hit Kozuki in the back. Kozuki was shocked and before he could understand what happened James kicked him and knocked him unconscious.

"Kozuki is unconscious and cannot continue the fight. The winner is James. Now we will take a break and then start the finals" Jun shouted. David went to freshen up and Kozuki was taken for treatment

Everyone was congratulating John and Sally as both her kids had reached the finals when James suddenly called Sally "Mom I need to talk to you about something?" Everyone started looking at James.

"What is it James? Why do you seem nervous? Are you hurt?" Sally started bombarding James with questions.

"James should I call the doctor to check you?" Aiko asked with a worried face. Everyone including the participants thought James got hurt during the match or he is too exhausted.

"No that's not it. Mom David listens to you. Can you tell him to fight at his full power?" James asked to which Sally sighed.

"James why would you make such a request?" Sally said.

Everyone knew that David wasn't using his full power but except the Carter family no one knew how much he was holding back. So they all wanted to see David's strength. By this time even Kozuki had returned.

"I also want to see David's strength. I promise that I won't disclose it to anyone." Kozuki said and everyone nodded.
