"Come on David wakeup...it's already time for your medicines" David's mom said while sitting beside me

"ugh!!! mom let me sleep for 5 more minutes" David said as he covered his face with his bedsheet

David has been in a hospital for the majority of his life because of a disease that was diagnosed when he was 3. He knew he wouldn't survive for more than 20 years but his family wanted to try each and every possible way to prolong his life. David was already 18 yrs old and he spent most of his time playing games or reading novels and manga. He didn't get to know the outside world much but he was smart enough to know the way of the world. Even his dad takes his advice when it comes to handling tricky problems in the family business. David has an elder brother and sister who dote on him very much and fulfill his every demand.

"Do you want me to tell Mira about this?" David's mom knew how to get her son to do things.

"No need to tell elder sis Mira about this I'll go freshen up" David woke up while giving his mother a side-eye.

'If elder sis Mira comes here she'll make me eat the hospital's bland food for the whole day...Yuck'

"Works like a charm each and every time" David's mom smirked while cutting some fruits for him.

After freshening up David asked his mom about how everything is going at home and at the office.

"Your dad is teaching your elder brother how to handle one of our factories. He doesn't want to overwhelm him with a lot of responsibilities"

"Dad better teach him fast coz my time is running out " he said while looking out of the window.

"Stop talking like that...nothing will happen to you " she said with a heavy voice

At that time the door of the hospital room opened and two men entered. One was in his late 40s and the other one was in his early 20s. The man with the white beard was David's father Daniel and the other one was David's elder brother Justin.

"Have you taken your medications yet?" David's father asked while resting on the couch

" I will in a couple of minutes. How did the meeting go today" David said while signaling his brother to take mom out of the room

'I hate to talk about business when my mom and sister are around. They don't like the way I handle things'

"I and mom will go and have a talk with the doctor about ur reports...Let's go mom" Justin opened the door for his mom

After both of them left, Daniel gave David a file and sat beside him

"Things are back on track. The speech you gave me worked like a charm and the strike was called off within an hour" Daniel said happily while patting David's shoulder

"Give the workers some benefits for now to increase their morale.....After this whole situation is forgotten we'll recover the losses. How is Justin handling things on his end?"

"He is too naive and compassionate. I fear he is too far from taking the reigns of the company" Daniel said as he was massaging his forehead

David wasn't happy to hear this. He could feel his condition was declining and he didn't want to leave his father alone to deal with things.

'Telling Justin won't do anything I have to talk with big sister Mira.....She is adapt to seeing things my way' Just as David was about to call his sister the door opened and a blonde girl entered

"How are you feeling David?" Mira asked

"I m good but I need u to start going to our office again "

"Ya I know I'll take care of it"

"Good"

"The doctor said the results of yesterday's tests have arrived and the results aren't as good as we wanted. He says we need to perform the surgery asap"

"Ok I'll meet mom and Justin then tell them to get started"

David met his family and they talked for some time before a nurse came and took him to the ICU. The doctor told him not to worry as they were 'almost' sure that his body can handle a minor surgery.

Suddenly David found himself sitting in a small room in front of a guy in a white suit.

"This dream feels way too realistic"(David)

"Hi David my name is Castiel and I am an angel. This isn't a dream your already dead" said the man in the white suit

First David thought this was some type of a joke but then he noticed that the constant pain that he was used to enduring in his liver had somehow vanished. He knew that the surgery wasn't supposed to ease his pain so he was pretty convinced that he really was dead

"So what happens to me now? Do I go to heaven or hell ?"

"You have the choice to go to heaven and live a life of eternal peace or take a path of a TRAVELER"

"What is that supposed to mean?"

"It's just as it sounds...You can travel through different worlds and you can become powerful enough to become a celestial being "

"What type of worlds will I be visiting and what are celestial beings"

"The worlds that you have seen in ur manga anime and movies.....you can enter them. You already know how they turn out... let's see how well can you perform when you already know the future. And you will understand about celestial beings in due time you don't need to worry"

"Do those worlds really exist? And even if they do haven't they already had their ending?"

"No, they haven't those are the ending we thought would be most suitable. By sending you to those worlds u can do things the way u want. So tell me what do you choose?"

"Life of eternal peace sounds as boring as my life on earth already was.....I choose to become a traveler...Do I get any perks?"

"You get to keep ur memories and a basic system and as bonus, I'll let you choose which world you want to go in" Castiel said while showing David a list of worlds he has to choose from

David sees the list and finds many of his favorite worlds like Marvel, Naruto, Harry Potter, and many more. David's eyes landed on MY HERO ACADEMIA.

"I choose My hero academia world to start from and I want to choose the quirk I get"

"I can't do that ...I have already given you two perks "

"Come on you know what kind of a life I have lived this is the least you can do"

"Wait lemme consult someone" Castiel said while leaving the room

'I have the best quirk in mind' David thought with a smile on his face
