David was already tired so he just informed his brother about the guests that will be coming in the evening and was about to sleep when he remembered that at the end of the competition he received a notification from the system but due to everyone's attention being on him at that moment, he simply muted it.

Wow, regeneration...!!! That's new for me. Even the avatar doesn't have that. That just proves that the system can grant powers that have no relation to the world of avatar. Maybe I'll get Rinnegan or even a devil fruit. Let's see I gotta get more missions now.
David dozed off to sleep while thinking of the infinite number of powers he could get from the different animes of his previous world. After a few hours he was woken by the sound of his ringing phone. He half asleep the picked up the phone and heard a women's voice and said.
"Mom..."
"David congrats on winning the festival. I knew you would either be sleeping or partying so I decided to call you in the evening."
"Yess mom I was sleeping. I am not celebrating too much...its just dinner"
After talking with his mom, dad, and elder brother George David came downstairs only to see James and Renji were doing arrangements for the dinner.
"Uncle Renji when did you come?" David asked.
"Oh just half n hour ago. I knew you would be tired because of the competition and all the preparations would fall on James's shoulder so I thought I'd help you here." Renji said while arranging the dining table.
"David I will have to leave in an hour. Nighteye agency has some important mission."
"James you won't be for tonight's celebration?"
"Nahh uncle Renji...I won't be able to make it. The mission will probably last till late night."
After all the preparations were done James left the house will all his costume equipment. David and Renji were chatting on the sofa.
"He took all his equipment today. Seems like the mission is quite dangerous." David said.
"It's about the hero killer: Stain. As you know he has crippled Ingenium today and the Iida family and some influence over the hero society so most of the pros are on the mission to find Stain. Do you want me to send someone to protect James from afar."
"With Mirio around him James will be fine. So what is going on nowadays with the underworld?" David asked.
"There is a drug named trigger currently spreading all over the world. It increases a person's quirk power to a great extent only for an hour. But the side effects are alarming as the person who uses it has his tongue turned complete black and more times a person uses it, more insane he/she becomes" Renji said while massaging his temples.
"Seems like this trigger drug has become quite the nuisance to your department" David asked.
"Yess..the last thing we need is criminals on steroids losing their sanity and running around in the civilian areas."
Ding...dong
"Seems like the others are here" David said as he got up to open the door.After opening the door David saw Hiroshi, Akira, Anko, Hideki, and Mira. David was a little surprised to see Mira as she had joined Hideki's team not long ago.
"Welcome everyone...come in" David said with a smile and everyone just came in.
"Congratulations David on winning the sports festival and sorry for coming without an invite." Mira said with an embarrassed smile.
'She is Renji's friend but she is less than half his age. I wonder how they met.' David thought and quickly replied Mira "Thank you Mira and don't be so formal. You have been working with Hideki for a couple of months now so you are obviously welcome."
Mira was happy listening to David's reply. She had met the entire Sato family and had heard a lot about David from them. She was hesitant when Hideki first invited her to come to this party but when Anko insisted, Mira couldn't say no to her.
Hideki and Hiroshi also wished David while Anko just hugged him.
"Come here boy...You are like a grandson to me so I can't tell you how happy I am seeing to ace the competition. I even talked to Sally today as she was really sad that she couldn't be with you as she is busy in organizing this year's I-Expo." Anko said with a smile. Due to David's rewind quirk she was back in her prime.
"It's okay Sensei. I got an invitation to I-Expo as a winner in the festival today so I'll meet her in a few months" David said while freeing himself from Anko's hug.
Everyone settled in the house and were chatting with each other about different topics. Hiroshi had setup a compatible forcefield around the house so that no one can spy on their talks.
"David we have a big news today. Mira is getting married." Hideki said while teasing Mira who just blushed and turned her hair sideways.
"Oh that's great. Congratulations Mira so who is the lucky man?" David asked
"It's my son Tenko. I didn't even know that they were dating until yesterday when when my wife told me." Renji said with a proud expression.
"So much for being an investigation team head" Akira said and everyone laughed while Renji had an embarrassed expression on his face.
"That's great news. By the way uncle Renji and Mira how did you guys meet?" David asked.
"Oh...She was an intern in the police department where I was a detective in Tokyo. Due to her being too matured for her age and her tomboyish attitude, it didn't take time for both of us to become friends." Renji said and Mira just pouted.
"David Mira just signed a pact with the rest of us so I thought It would be no problem to bring her here in our discussions" Anko said.
"If you think so Sensei then I have no problem with it" David said and Mira had a confused face.
"What discussions? We are here to celebrate right?" Mira asked while looking at Hideki for an answer.
"The thing is David is were are here for a celebration but mainly because David called us for a discussion." Hideki said.
"David first I wanted to ask about the case you gave Hideki the day your class was attacked" Hiroshi said.
"What about it? All the information I had on that case was already on the file." David said
"That's not it David. Mom and Dad think you gave them this case so to take the association's attention of the USJ attack that happened on your class" Akira said and even others just kept looking towards David for an answer.
"That's a far fetched claim but a right one. Don't actively investigate that case that's all I can say for now." David said in a serious tone.
"David you have never hidden anything for me. Why this time?" Anko asked. All these years teaching David she had grown loving and caring for him. She even made food for him and would bring it to the dojo. She was also in regular contact with Sally so the fact that David didn't tell her this sooner had hurt her a little but she knew that David would have a good reason for this.
"Because it took almost all my strength to defeat that monster and the main guy named Tomura didn't seem capable of handling such a precise attack. I don't think the association is strong enough right now to face them" David said.
'Seeing their expressions I don't think Hideki and Mira will stop the USJ investigation. Seems like I have to tell them the truth. I don't have any problem with them knowing about All for one and One for All. In the canon it was one of All Might's and Deku's mistake that they hid All for One's existence from everyone and god knows how many people died.'
"David I want you to trust us. You are just 15 years old. I don't want you to carry any burden." Anko took David's hand and looked directly into his eyes.
"Fine I'll tell you all what the whole thing is about. But not a word about it outside" David said and everyone nodded quickly.
(Guys I know that this chapter just contains David talking to others but I felt that it was needed for the story to go the way I want. And just writing conversations doesn't make me feel satisfied so I'll be releasing an extra chapter by the end of the day)
