Chapter 37

David entered the dojo and saw that most of the instructors had already left. He saw Hina near the window talking on the phone. As David came close to her she turned back and said

"Hey, David your early today. Dad and Grandpa aren't here but Hideki , uncle Renji, and his friend are in training arena 4."

"Thank you, Hina. I'll go and meet them then"

David said as he went towards training ground 4 where he saw Hideki and a woman sparring while Renji was standing at the side. After entering the ground he saw that the woman was the one he saved in the abandoned building and David had even forgotten her name. Seeing David enter the arena Hideki stopped the fight.

"Hey David, it's good to see you after such a long time. You couldn't even make it to my wedding" Hideki said while Mira looked towards David. Hideki had

"Mira let me introduce you to David. He was with us that day when we met you." Renji said.

After Renji introduced them Mira said " Do you train at this dojo?"

"Yess for a couple of years I have been training here" David said.

"Hah...David's been coming here for more than 10 years and even goes toe to toe with my Grandpa" Hideki said.

"Wow, that great. Not many can even last a second in front of Mr. Hiroshi. Which school are you in?" Mira asked.

"U.A high school, hero course class 1-A"

"Damm that's the best school and even in the A class at that." Mira said.

"David I have never fought with you. How about a spar?" Hideki said excitedly.

"Hold your horses Hideki. David, you normally don't come at this time and you never even look at other training grounds. Is it something you want to talk about?" Renji said but David didn't say anything and Hideki and Mira were about to leave the ground but Renji stopped them and said

"Don't worry David Hideki now has a special investigation team and Mira is his second in command but if it's even more important then let's go to the office and talk" Renji said.

Renji knew that if David really wanted to talk something secretive he would go in the office and call him there. He didn't want Hideki and Mira to feel that he doesn't trust them.

"Then I don't have any problem." David said as he removed a file from his backpack and handed it to Renji who started reading the first few pages and said

"This is big." Renji said while frowning and seeing that even Hideki and Mira became serious.

"What is it, uncle Renji. Is it about today's attack on U.A?" Hideki asked

" Renji what has gotten you this serious?" Mira asked.

"This is about arms and ammunitions being smuggled from Japan to the USA. The documents even include names of some big corrupt industrialists and there is even ample amount of proof to implicate them" Renji said.

"WHAT????" Hideki and Mira said together.

For the next few minutes, Hideki and Mira kept going through the documents and their eyes grew wider with every passing second.

"Uncle we need to investigate this as soon as possible." Hideki said

"Renji this could stop a lot of underworld activities for the next few years" Even Mira was pumped up.

"Wait both of you. David, how do you want to handle this?" Renji asked in a calm tone which confused Mira and Hideki.

"No media coverage and the buyer side or any of the USA authorities shouldn't be alarmed." David said.

"But why?? Why just half the work and the people deserve to know what the industrialists did" Mira said.

"Mira let David finish" Renji stopped her.

"The deal has already been done and the USA party won't go contact the supplier here again. The USA party isn't big enough to catch but can prove as an entry way for us to find out other illegal trades between both countries. And I said no media coverage because it alarms unwanted people and I don't want that" David said.

"What you are saying is correct. Hmm..fine, we will do it like that" Hideki said while thinking.

"You are only 15 years old but you talk even more mature than Renji" Mira said and giggled.

"Hey that's uncalled for Mira. We'll leave that for tomorrow, now David do you want to spar with Hideki? Even other kids at home have asked me about your progress." Renji said.

"Come on David let me see how much you have grown" Hideki said smirkingly.

"Sure I'll get into my training suit then we can start." David turned back and left.

"Mira you come and sit with me. Observe the match carefully and there will be a lot to learn. David is very fast so keep your quirk on from the start" Renji said

"Never thought I would have to learn from a 15-year-old but looking at him seems like he is strong." Mira said while sitting beside Renji.

After a few minutes, David and Hideki stood in front of each other.

"START" Renji shouted.

David rushed towards Hideki and threw a kick from the side towards Hideki's shoulder. Hideki blocked the kick with his arms and moved just a step aside due to the force.

'Damm only a kick was capable of numbing my arms for a few seconds' Hideki thought.

Hideki threw a punch towards David's face but David caught his wrist and rotated a little to throw a backward kick towards Hideki's gut. Hideki tightened his stomach as he thought he was capable of handling the kick but before the kick could connect the leg got surrounded by an aura. Seeing this Hideki's eye widened and he tried to block or deflect the kick with his other hand but it was too late.

The kick connected to Hideki's gut and Hideki flew back. He gritted his teeth but ended up coughing some blood. Seeing that Mira stood up.

"What was that blue thing covering his leg for a split second? Was it his quirk?" Mira questioned.

'He is training here for years so I don't think he will cheat but still, that blue layer around his leg appeared just a moment before the kick could connect. Is his quirk related to body strengthening?' Mira thought.

"Hahaha...don't worry that wasn't his quirk. It was a technique that my Grandma taught David. I and Akira did try to learn it but couldn't. It's called aura" Renji said.

"Shit...I assumed it to be a normal kick but didn't think you will suddenly coat it with aura. I give up David. I focused on Strength but forgot how decisive you are" Hideki said while wiping his mouth.
