Chapter 4: Life

~Sun Castle

|Tsuki POV

I've been here at the castle of the sun for six months now, and all I've done is study, be it magic and Uncle Lusat's weapons.

In the castle with me there are two people: a Carian knight and a maid.The knight is almost always by my side while the maid is always doing something.

During that time, nothing special happened, except two months ago...

~4 months ago

Tsuki wakes up in bed and looks around and finds no traces of his country, with a bitter face he says; "So it was just a dream"

Lost in thought, the bedroom door opens to reveal a woman in a maid's outfit, aged 40 to 50,brown hair and hazel eyes.

The woman then gets out of bed and says: "Sir, are you awake yet? The food is served"

Wrapped in blankets Tsuki says: "Yes, Silvie, I'll go now" This is Silvie, the maid his mother left him to take care of him, from what she said, She's from out of the Lands in between.

"Huh" Tsuki takes off the bed with a slight scream and heads towards the bathroom, but to his surprise, when he looks in the mirror his third eye is open completely.

"It's strange" Tsuki think staring at his third eye, When he looks into his eyes, Tsuki remembers memories with his mother and father; "Mother... father..."

Without Tsuki noticing, behind him, a crack begins to appear, as if space itself was being torn apart.

As if noticing the space breaking, Tsuki looks back: "What is that?!"

In the place where the space was cracked, a familiar place appeared for Tsuki, different from the sun castle where he was, the place seen through space was his own room in the Carian mansion.

"What?, this is... my room" Tsuki asks himself.Tsuki slowly approaches the broken space, and with a slight touch of hesitation, Tsuki places his hand in the space, when touching the space, his fingers pass completely to the other side.

Less hesitant, Tsuki passes his body completely through space arriving at his room in the Carian mansion.

With a slight sigh of relief and a smile on his face he says; "Sighh, I'm back"

Before any other thought a voice came from behind the door of the sun castle; "Are you ready, Sr. Tsuki?"

Tsuki then quickly says; "Yes, I'm almost ready". Tsuki then goes back to the sun castle's bathroom.

"Ughh". But when Tsuki returns, a pain like thousands of thorns piercing his body consumes him, and with a groan he faints.

~One day later

|Tsuki POV

"Ugh" With a slight groan, I slowly open my eyes as I stand up, to look at Silvie in a chair next to me.

"Silvie, wake up" calling Silvie to wake her up, she slowly opens her eyes, then with wide eyes she looks at me and says; "Mr, Tsuki, you're finally awake"

With a tired face he says; "What happened?"

Quickly she says; "Mister Tsuki, you just spent a lot of "energy", which made you faint... But there's no need to worry, Sir Elizard has already checked you and confirmed that you're out of danger."

"I understand..."

|Tsuki POV

Since that day four months ago, With each passing day I am managing to open the space with some ease and without fainting, just weakness.

In addition to being able to create portals to places I've already been, using more "energy" I can create portals to a kind of dimension, where I've seen two: one made of ice, and one made of squares.

"Better pay attention here child" Interrupting my thoughts, a horizontal sword strike catches me by surprise.

Elizard was an icy warrior who, after the war against the giants, joined the Carian family, and that is why he was chosen to stay with me in the castle of the sun.

Little by little the fog begins to disappear, Tsuki looks towards what should be Elizard, but was actually an ice man, imitating Elizard, and then: Elizard appears on his back with a sword at his neck.

"Not yet" Tsuki replies, using his body weight, throws the sword back, using all his strength and weight for this attack.

"SLASH". "CLINK"

Elizard quickly defends with his sword, without giving Tsuki any chance to fight back, Elizard strikes Tsuki with his sword, throwing Tsuki's sword now away and leaving him with no escape.

Pointing the sword at Tsuki's chest, Elizard says; "It was a good fight, You're getting better as time goes by, if you were before you wouldn't even know where "I" am in the fog"

"It might have been a good fight for you, for me it was like a horse was running over me", Tsuki says complaining.

"Sometimes you get hit and another time you hit, that's life kid, sometime you can hit... but not today" With that Elizard walks towards the exit of the training field, but before leaving he says; "Same time tomorrow".

"Sighh" with a sigh, Tsuki turns his gaze to the sky and stars...

~ Two years later.

At the training ground, Tsuki and Elizard are doing ice magic training.

"Try to freeze your weapon, just like me." Elizard He passes his hand over his sword, which immediately begins to emit pale smoke, as a sign of its temperature.

"I know, I already know how to embed weapons with magic" Tsuki then does the same with his gun.

With a sigh Elizard says; "Sighhh,That's enough for today, there is someone waiting for you there" while pointing at the training ground benches.

"Hmm?" Tsuki when looking at the training field benches, there is Rennala and Radagon seeing him, and with Rennala there is a bundle of baby in her arms.

"Mother, father" When Tsuki saw his parents he ran towards them, since they only see each other every year.

Before Tsuki jumps or hugs Rennala, Rennala stops him before making any movement.

"Wait, be careful if you come like that you might hurt him" Rennala says with a touch of "anger"

"Hurt him? Who?" Tsuki asks confused there.

Radagon then opens Rennala's bundle and points to the baby inside and says; "He, your brother"

With a puzzled look, Tsuki looks at Rannala and says; "Brother?"

Rennala looks on with a loving look, while stroking the small strands of hair of the child in her arms and saying; "That's your brother, so you should be a good big brother and take care of him."

"Let me see better" Tsuki looks at his mother's arms, and pulls him down to get a better look at his brother.

"There's no rush, here, take him" Rennala hands the child into Tsuki's hands.

"Oahh, Just like his father's hair... Mom, what's his name?" He asks curiously.

"Radahn" responds Rennala

"Radahn..." Surra Tsuki with fascination and determined to take care of his brother.

~One year later

A year later the same scene happens, Rykard was the new member of the Cariana family he was born...

And Tsuki continues in her routine...

Rennala and Tsuki are studying in the Sun Castle room about Carian magic and the magic where Rennala was feared: The full moon.

Tsuki who now has white hair reaching his shoulders and 6 cm horns.

"Mom, how are Uncle Lusat and Uncle Azur?" Tsuki asks curiously, since he hasn't seen them in 4 years.

With an indecisive and distressed look, Rennala looks at Tsuki and says; "My dear, they... left the academy after you came here, and no one knows where they are."

"But why did they leave the academy, if they were the ones who created it" Tsuki asks in confusion.

"I don't know, they didn't say anything to anyone... Maybe Lusat went to his hometown."

"Hometown... Sellia, the city of sorcerers..." Tsuki looks hopefully at his Rennala and says; "Mom, can we go visit Uncle Lusat?"

Rennala looks at her son with a sad look and says; "No Tsuki, we can't go"

Tsuki looks strangely at his mother, since again he was the firstborn of the Carian family, and "spoiled" since childhood, and had never received a "no" from his mother.

Tsuki looks strangely at his mother and says; "Why not mom?, why can't we go see Uncle Lusat?"

Hesitantly, Rennala stands up and looks at the erdtree with a sigh and looks back at Tsuki and says; "Son, I told them to remove all the books on this subject, but... I know it was time for you to find out..."

Tsuki looks scared and with a bad feeling he looks at Rennala and asks; "Find out what?"

"About his horns and eyes... You may have noticed that only you have them, This is actually considered a curse... called "omens" "

Tsuki scared and trembling asks his mother; "And... What happens to them... the omens?"

With a disappointed look she says; "Nobles like you are... thrown into the sewers of the capital, and left there until your death..."

Tsuki with wet eyes and asks his mother; "So... this is my sewer?!"

Rennala looking at Tsuki says; "Yes, you must never leave here, or you will be hunted by the golden order or anyone who believes in erdtree"

Looking at Rennala he says; "But I don't want to live like an animal here, I want to travel and discover everything about these lands... just like the stories you tell me".

"For now, for now you can't leave here, or they will hunt you down, not even I can stop that... So for now, promise me you won't leave here, promise me." She says with a "stern" face.

"I.. I promise" Tsuki says hesitantly.

"Thank you" says Rennala with a relieved face.

That year, Rennala has her third child: Ranni, but...

~In the Carian mansion after Ranni's birth.

Six people are in a room in the Carian mansion, two with angry faces, two with sleeping faces and two with neutral faces.

The ones with neutral faces are: Ranni and Blaidd.

The ones with angry faces are: Rennala and Radagon

And the ones with neutral faces are: An old woman with two fingers and Two Fingers himself.

The old woman looks at the symbols made by the two fingers and translates them to Rennala and Radagon; "Ranni was chosen as empyreans, and he cannot have contact with his brother omen, that would stain his blood, or there will be consequences"

"That..." Rennala and Radagon look angrily at the two fingers and the old woman, without waiting for a response, disappears like mist.

Looking at Ranni sleeping so gently Rennala's heart calms down.

"So now... he really can't leave the sun castle" Radagon says

Rennala looking at Ranni says; "No, it's as if he would want to stay there forever... one day he will leave, whether we like it or not"

|Tsuki POV

Father and mother won't be coming this year, at least that's what Elizard said.

Curious why with my space skills, I went to Carina's mansion and discovered the situation: I can't see my younger sister; Ranni, as she is now a candidate for goddess.

Almost every night, using space abilities I go to visit Ranni and Blaidd, keeping an eye on them.

"Maybe I should go visit her less often from now on" I say to myself...

~Two months later

I was studying magic in my room when suddenly a pain that seemed to tear my bones and veins appeared.

"AAAAARRHHHHGGGG" With a scream of pain I fall to the floor, with my last sight being the bedroom door being opened...
