Send Me To Him

It took almost thirty minutes for the group to make it to the front of the line. After getting their tickets, they could finally go inside the fairgrounds. Sora could immediately smell the delicious aroma. He couldn't remember the last time he'd been graced with it.

Without wasting any time, he broke off from the group. An old man was taking orders at a concession stand. A smile graced his face when noticing the young Lockhart's excitement.

"What can I get for you, tall young man?"

"I'll take a brown sugar and cinnamon funnel cake! Oh, and a cup of hot chocolate!" Sora exclaimed. The old man chuckled when hearing his eagerness.

"Hohoho…Coming right up! Kids these days…so willful." He commented.

After a quick five minutes, the sleepy man had his delectables. Starfire had chased after him when he broke off from the group. Her mouth watered upon seeing his plate.

"This must be the legendary…"

"It is." Sora answered with a sagely expression.

His eyes turned into crescents with every bite. It felt as if his life was complete. Such a delicious delicacy. Truly something everyone had to try at least once. Starfire reached for his plate only to grasp air. Sora had moved away.

"No." He shook his head.

"I just want to try it!"

"Nope. Get your own."

"Please?"

"No."

"Pleaseeeee?"

"No!"

"Why not?" She gave him the cutest puppy eyes.

"Why must it be mine? Get your own!"

"But how will I know the splendors of this legendary sweet if I don't taste it first? If it's good then I'll get my own."

"...Can't you smell it? You already know it will taste good."

"That's not true!" She lied. The bubbly girl was a horrible liar. After thinking of a way to turn this in his favor, he heaved a sigh.

"Fine, but you must do as I say."

"Yes! I'll definitely owe you one. Next time I get something, you can have some of mine." She exclaimed with excitement.

"Sure whatever. Come here."

The young Lockhart sat on a bench further away. He made sure that it was far enough from the group so that they wouldn't be able to see. Starfire followed after him. Sora patted his thigh, telling her to sit on his lap. He was smirking in his mind.

'She doesn't understand the boundaries of friendship. Heh.'

Starfire plopped onto his lap without hesitation. Her bright eyes were still focused on the plate. The young Lockhart gave her a serious look.

"This is an important moment, okay? The funnel cake can only be shared like this the first time. It's tradition." He lied.

"How does it work?" She asked. Sora cut off a part of the cake before speaking.

"You have to eat the other half."

"Alright! I'm ready! And hungry."

The sleepy man put half of the piece in his mouth and brought the other end to her lips. Starfire immediately bit off the other half, their lips almost touching. Brown sugar landed on the corner of her mouth.

As she focused on the delicious taste, Sora's free hand went around her smooth stomach. He pulled her even further into his lap while enjoying her softness. It didn't end there. His lips pressed against hers, tasting the treat.

'Yummy.' He thought.

He could see stars in her eyes upon pulling back. She was still chewing the food. A slight smile adorned his face.

"Is it good?"

"Umu! Sho ghud. Another!"

"You have to get your own if you want more. Oh, you have some sugar on your face."

Sora leaned in once more, licking the brown sugar of the corner of her lips. He was taking full advantage of her cluelessness. His hand caressed her stomach.

"I must get one! Let's go. Right now!" Starfire got off his lap.

Before he could stand up, she noticed a bit of sugar on his lips. The innocent beauty quickly licked off the brown sugar. Since he did it, she'd assumed it was normal.

"Alright. After we get yours, we should go find the group. They're probably worried about us. Especially Raven." He declared. Starfire nodded.

"Right! I will make sure to be fast. We can't be in the park of amusement all day!"

"Oh, and since we're partners, don't do anything like this without me. Okay?"

"As you desire! I will not be the one to ruin our friendship. Together forever!" She announced with confidence.

Sora accompanied her to get her own. She ended up getting a blueberry funnel cake. On the way back to the group, he couldn't help but smile at his luck.

'Women. I love women.' He thought while following after the cute tamaranean. She went from stall to stall, looking at everything with curiosity.

It didn't take long for them to return. Robin and Blue Beetle were competing at a duck hunting booth. Raven and Beast Boy could be found on the other side, watching people play a dance game.

The young Lockhart rested his chin on her shoulder. Rachel wasn't surprised at all, since she knew his location. Her eyes wandered to his half eaten plate.

"This is a funnel cake?"

"...The one and only."

Without saying a word, she took the plate. Sora could only sigh and sip his hot chocolate. Why him?

Beast Boy glanced at them before walking up to the dance machine. He couldn't watch anymore. It was better to keep it out of his mind. Over and over, he kicked himself for being so slow to tell Raven his feelings. Now it was too late.

Time went on and the group enjoyed their time. Sora eventually dragged Raven away so they could explore alone. There were a few rides but the pessimistic beauty could give a damn. They soon found themselves in front of a dart throwing booth. She couldn't help but pull him over.

"...Are you finally interested in something?" He mocked. She rolled her eyes in response.

"Who do you think would win?"

"Um…Me. Duhh." He spoke as if it was a fact.

After taking another sip of his hot chocolate, his hand went under her skirt again. He squeezed her bubbly ass once more. She didn't react this time, only leaning her head against his chest. They were incredibly soft. It molded to his touch. His hand enjoyed the feeling for a while before it shined with light. Activating his love tap, he pinched it.

"Ah!" She squealed.

Raven slapped his hand away while glaring at his face. A slight blush had adorned her cheeks. Sora only smiled at her adorable expression.

"Those are fighting words." She finally said. The sleepy man raised an eyebrow. It took a second for him to understand.

'Oh. She's talking about throwing darts.' He thought.

"...Try me."

"You're on."

It was safe to say that Sora was right. He won as expected. An obvious outcome. His perception gave him plenty of time to aim. Raven's face was scrunched up in annoyance. The worker spoke up.

"Choose your prize, buddy." Looking at all the prizes, he eventually found something nice.

"I'll take that one."

"Roger that."

Picking up the item, he handed it to the young Lockhart. Sora walked over to his little bundle of darkness, who was sulking further away. He put the prize in her hands.

"Here." In his hand was a white teddy bear that had a chain around its neck. A sleepy expression was on his face.

"Um…thanks?" She looked at it with reluctance.

Sora shrugged in response. As he looked away with a yawn, Raven gazed at the sleepy white teddy bear then looked back at him. It took her a few more looks back and forth before it clicked. A lovely smile adorned her face as she hugged the bear tightly, giving it a kiss on the forehead.

The two went on to explore the rest of the fairgrounds, competing at other booths. She didn't win a single game. Going easy on her would only make it worse. It was all about tough love. By the time they made it back to the group, a crowd had formed. Everyone was watching Beast Boy and Robin compete at the dance arcade machine.

As time went on, the young Lockhart felt something weird. His unique bond with Raven was going haywire. Looking over to her, he found her running the opposite direction. She was leaving the fair.

He trailed behind her in a slow walk, still able to see everything from afar. It took almost ten minutes for her to reach her destination. The gloomy girl was now on a hill overlooking the entire festival ground. Suddenly, three four-eyed demons rose from the ground and surrounded her.

It was unknown what they were talking about, since their conversation seemed to be mental. Sora was already speeding up at that point. Not too fast, since he knew she could handle herself. Raven wasn't a damsel in distress and she hated being treated like one.

It was at this moment that a ghastly projection appeared in front of her. It was a smoky black color and the four eyes were red. The figure was huge.

"Trigon." Sora growled angrily. It seems that the fucker didn't learn his lesson the first time. Raven got into a fighting stance.

"Hahahaha!" The projection laughed before disappearing.

At that moment, she dropped to the floor in pain. The demons smiled darkly before approaching her. Realizing that things had gone bad, he took a step-

"Urgh!"

Sora fell to one knee. His sight went blurry with pain. It took all of his willpower not to pass out.

"Holy shhh…" He couldn't even finish.

The pain was excruciating. It came from the soul which was the worst type of pain. The young Lockhart spasmed on the ground, almost biting off his own tongue. His body subconsciously wanted to curl up into a ball. But he needed to power through it! If he wanted it to end…he needed to soothe Raven.

He struggled to his knees before flashing over to her. A blade of light slashed in a circle, cleaving the demons in half. His light immediately washed over the suffering beauty, easing the pain. It eventually left as if it was never there.

Only now could Sora breathe again. He gasped over and over again while making sure she was okay. The pain left him lightheaded.

'This is what she feels whenever that bastard tries to take over?! Hell. No.' He thought with fury.

RUMBLE

Rage. Overwhelming fury. An ocean of flames represented his anger. The ground shook in response to his emotions. Due to their special connection, his rage was amplified by 100 times. He'd never been more furious in his life. It made it hard to breathe.

His golden eyes glowed with an intense radiance. All of the grass nearby withered away until there was nothing left. The vengeful Lockhart felt his mind growing cloudy. His face had contorted into a terrifying expression.

"Rachel."

Her eyes struggled to open when hearing his voice. When she looked at his vengeful expression, she gave a weak smile filled with understanding. His emotions flowed through her.

"Sora…" Raven struggled to stay conscious. The pain left her exhausted. This only made him angrier.

"Feel me with our connection. Look deep. Tell me what you see…Can you feel my strength?" He spoke.

She slowly closed her eyes and focused. After a good while, she opened her purple eyes and looked at him with awe. She couldn't believe what she'd just seen.

"It's like…an endless ocean of light. Sora…who are you?"

Cracks appeared in the ground beside them. All of New York could feel the earth's ministrations. The nearby trees had disintegrated. Sora ignored her question and spoke.

"Send me to him."

For those that already knew this was coming...IT'S HERE. You know what time it is. Chap.
