Legend of the Bellflower Monster

Heeseung and Sunghoon noticed Jungwon with a book so they came over to take a look.

"Hey! Sayuri, look at this," Heeseung and Sunghoon cried in unison.

"It's a book about Japanese folk tales," Heeseung specified.

"The legend of the Bellflower Monster," Sunghoon read.

"A few boys were camping out in Bellflower Mountain as a test of courage when one of them was about to fall asleep but realized one of their friends, Kotaru, was missing. They checked outside and something caught their eye, a flicker of light that disappeared the second it started. They thought it might have been Kotaru, so they scattered into the woods holding their flashlights to see if he was there. One of the boys noticed a ripped cloth laying on the ground and picked it up, only to be horrified with the sight of the cloth soaked in blood. The boys recognized it as their friend's shirt and started running away from the scene while yelling that the Bellflower monster had gotten him. One of the boys got separated from the rest of his friends after he tripped while they were running. He silently hid behind a tree and heard something cracking. The boy stepped out from behind the tree and saw a blue monster gobbling his friend. He quickly ran away, scared of being devoured by the beast. When the boy finally made it back to the village, the adults went out to look for the boys but all they found were flashlights, pieces of bloodstained shirts and shoes." Sayuri continued.
