Let’s Have Another Battle

Yang Yun shivered as the chilly wind blew over. Slowly, he inched forward to the campfire to feel its warmth. Just then, Jiang Xiao Tian dropped a fur coat on his body. "Thank you."

Xiao Tian replied him with a smile. Then, he handed Yang Yun barbecued meat. "Eat this. It's still hot."

Yang Yun nodded. He looked around and noticed that they were not far away from their camp. His gaze then stopped at the campfire. The smoke he inhaled earlier must have come from here.

He took a small bite of the barbecued meat in his hand and looked at the three brothers. He found the situation right now was too awkward. Vice General Fei Liu was grilling some meat, and the three brothers ate in silence. He still could not figure out why they took him in the woods.

It couldn't be that they wanted to kill him and leave him here. It would be an excellent opportunity. No one knew where he was, and no one would suspect the three brothers would do something to him.

Yang Yun heaved a sigh at the absurd thought. No matter how much the brothers did not like him, there was no way that they would do something like that.

"You don't have to worry," Jiang Xiao Tian said. "We don't have any ulterior motive other than spending some times and get to know you. After all, you're going to be our brother-in-law in a few months. Come," he poured drinks into the cups and distributed to everyone. "Let's drink."

Jiang Xiao Liang drank from his cup and sneered. "What brother-in-law. I won't agree to that!"

"As long as Mingyue likes him and mother and father agreed to this wedding, who cares if you agree to their wedding or not," Xiao Tian shot a warning glance to him. "Why were you against Mingyue and Yang Yun anyway? From what I know, Yang Yun doesn't seem like a bad man."

Jiang Xiao Xian chuckled. Listening to the second brother's words, it seemed that he had investigated Yang Yun thoroughly. Since Xiao Tian worked under His Majesty's investigation team, it wouldn't be hard for him to obtain the information he wanted as quick.

The corner of Xiao Xian's lips curved up as he looked at the second brother who sat beside him. His lips parted as he spoke softly, "You want to know why? Of course, it was because Xiao Liang had never won against Yang Yun in combat."

Xiao Liang's face turned red from anger. He was about to say something to his elder brother when he saw Xiao Xian raised a brow at him. He immediately averted his gaze. Even if he was angry, he could not say anything to his elder brother. Although he was closer to Xiao Xian, Xiao Liang was most afraid of him.

Xiao Liang turned his gaze to Yang Yun. His eyes narrowed as he watched him taking a bite on the meat casually. He threw the cup to the ground and pointed his forefinger to Yang Yun. "Yang Yun! If you're a man, let's have another battle! Just you and me!"

Yang Yun did not even lift his gaze away from the barbecued ribs in his hand when he spoke to Xiao Liang. "Why? We already knew what the result would be."

"You!" Xiao Liang felt his chest heavy as if a stone pressed on his chest. His anger rose to another level. What he hated the most was Yang Yun's taunting expression. He grabbed a pebble by his side and flicked it to Yang Yun.

Yang Yun tilted his head slightly to his left to evade the pebble. Then, he lifted his gaze to Xiao Liang. There was a trace of mockery in his eyes.

Gritting his teeth in anger, Xiao Liang leaped forward to tackle Yang Yun.

With his left hand, Yang Yun flipped backward to get away from Xiao Liang. He spun around when Xiao Liang tried to grab his long hair. Yang Yun clicked his tongue with discontent. "You're trying to grab my hair? Xiao Liang, I didn't know that you now fight like a girl."

"I'll show you who fight like a girl. Yang Yun! You come here!"
