The Ex ranked boss

As one might have guessed and even expected, Ren had learned the famous tailed-bomb that the tailed beasts were able to use freely.

Not only had he learned it, and increased his damage output, he had even mastered it enough to combine elements with it.

At least the ones he could use for now.

And that attack that he had launched was exactly the tailed beast bomb combined with wind energy.

Don't take his casualness as it being easy, as it was anything but.

In fact, Ren estimated that there wouldn't be many who could replicate the same as him if they were not in the same position as him.

And even if they were, it was not guaranteed that they'll do it as masterfully as him.

He just had a great degree of control of this attack and was capable of maximizing the damage output.

For example, as soon as this attack of his landed, a huge explosion sounded right after.

*BOOM*

The wyverns cried out in alarm as it happened suddenly, but it was too late.

The ground broke immediately creating a very deep crater and the bris that was created from that got launched in every direction.

Unfortunately for the currently shaken wyverns who had tried to fly away, they were the perfect target and thus got struck by the attack and the broken rocks.

*Fouish*

Despite being monsters of the SS rank and above, the shards of the rocks that reached tens of meters easily penetrated through them, and that was a result of Ren's wind bijuudama and generally his wind ability.

Otherwise, their scams would have been good enough defense for them. Sadly, for them, their opponent this time was Ren.

And Ren wasn't someone who'll go easy on monsters. For them, he had no mercy.

As he watched the wyverns fly away, Ren's eyes stayed put in one place.

That was the wyvern king den.

And low and behold, Ren didn't have to wait for long before the dragon was suddenly seen coming out of its den.

Long limbs that acted as wings at the same time shot out of the den first before following after that a huge head suddenly peaked and then subsequently roared out loud silencing all the fleeing and yelling wyverns.

*Roar*

It was no surprise when they actually did stop, and even landed on the ground and spread their limbs and wings as if prostrating to the king.

Ren nodded in admiration.

This monster was especially beautiful.

It had a color of gold, and its scales shone and reflected the light further creating a beautiful image of a noble wyvern.

"It certainly deserves the title of their king," As ren's eyes compared it to the regular wyverns, Ren couldn't help but make such a comment.

As for its size, it was undoubtedly the biggest and largest of them all. But that should only be natural since it was their king after all.

Of course, size didn't equate to power, but this situation was generally the case for monsters.

The more Ren observed it the more he was satisfied and seemingly made up his mind in certain regards.

The wyvern upon seeing that the monsters and its brethren had quietened down, it turned immediately to Ren as if it had already locked onto its form and knew he was the one responsible for all this mess.

The next thing that happened was extremely shocking to Ren.

The wyvern flapped its wings at such a speed that he didn't even manage to follow it, and the next thing that happened was the wyvern king shooting through the air like an arrow and its head biting fiercely at Ren.

The dust had already cleared from the already attack, and the wyverns had settled so the sky was relatively calm now, and yet despite that, Ren failed to spot the wyvern king before it was already in his face.

This certainly was… surprising.

Subsequently, Ren shot back and dodged the attack of the wyvern.

But it was obvious that something was different about him this time, as instead of relying on his base form, this time he had already transformed into his white tiger form.

And not only that, he had even entered his tailed beast mode which showed that he wasn't underestimating this monster at all.

After all, only by this could he fight against this Ex ranked monster.

And not only that, he had some plans this time, so he of course had to show this much effort.

The wyvern king's eyes widened as Ren managed to dodge its attack.

It had clearly felt his power earlier, and he shouldn't have been able to do that.

But upon taking a closer look, suddenly the form of the tiny human before it started to exude a tiny level of danger to it as if he was a being capable of ending its life.

Its eyes narrowed.

Then it didn't repeat the same move as earlier since it knew that Ren had become somehow stronger than before. Instead, it crossed its wings, and then suddenly it launched and two giant wind blades shot at Ren at breaking ground speed.

But too bad for it, Ren was already ready.

Still, he was a bit surprised since he didn't expect it to actually also use wind like him.

With that in mind, Ren grinned as he decided to also fight using the wind.

He crossed his rams similarly and then energy gathered at an astonishing speed before Ren suddenly launched his hands and two much bigger wind blades colluded with the attack and cut it apart making it dissipate.

*Boom*

A huge shockwave spread apart as the two attacks colluded, and as Ren's attack cut the other apart, the broken parts of the remaining wind blades shot into the surrounding mountains and cleaved them instantly into two, while the wyvern king had to deal with Ren's attack that was still advancing to it after cutting its attack apart.

The wyvern puffed its chest, and then suddenly it spat out a golden flame beam from its mouth that managed to stop the attack of Ren.

"Haha, as expected of you, otherwise I would just be disappointed now,"

Ren was even more excited as he saw that.

It seemed like the fight this time was going to be amazing.
