Tatsumaki’s changes

An insanely huge boulder hung in the sky.

It was akin to a huge mountain that was crushed and turned into a round shape with cracks all over it.

As for what this rocky earthen construction was doing in the sky floating around just casually…

'This is so easy,'

It had to do with a certain tornado of terror called Tatsumaki. She thought to herself as she observed the sphere.

The short-stature girl floated in the sky as one of her hands was on her lovely narrow hips and the other hand was in a motion of raising up as if she was holding something light, almost like a simple wine glass.

Though what she was holding was anything but light.

The huge earthen sphere in the sky was made by her as she was trying her new abilities for the first time.

And she, who was already an immersive SSS hero, had right now doubled in power and efficiency.

All due to her weight manipulation trait which was also in the realm of the SSS rank.

But why a sphere as large as that?

*VRRR*

The reason for that was being emitted from inside of the sphere.

Flames suddenly were emitted from the gaps in the earthen sphere that was floating around, making Tatsumaki snort up and just chuckle.

"Just sit there quietly, alright?" Her words were degrading, but it wasn't like she didn't have the right to act that way.

Another squeeze of her fingers and the earthen sphere compacted even more from the pressure she was emitting.

*Shik*

'Normally this much weight would be taxing to lift up, but now, I can't seem to feel it at all…'

Before this, she would have to go all out to fight this monster that was buried inside the sphere currently and vainly breathe flames in the hope of escaping, but to no avail since the earth she used was being shielded with a barrier from her.

As she thought to herself, this huge sphere had so much weight, only her 100% output before can allow her to lift it for some short time, but now with her newest trait, it was like it don't weigh anything.

She didn't feel it taxing or anything, and she felt like she could go for way more than that right now.

It was a novel feeling for her.

*Swish*

A twist of her hand, had the sphere floating there and shaking from the monster moving, suddenly going downwards at an amazing speed until it impacted the area and left a deep crater as it fractured the area around.

*Boom*

*Arghhh*

A pained cry rang and vibrations rang once again.

Tatsumaki joined her hands under her breasts and snorted.

"As expected of the boss monster…"

As for the area that was destroyed… well she didn't have to worry about that, since this was the inside of a gate.

Right now, she was fighting against this boss monster of this gate, and to her luck, it was just an SSS rank, which gave her the option to just test her abilities against it without being scared she would get hurt in return.

As for what type of monster this was… the area was dusty so it wasn't really visible for now.

As the rocks broke apart after the crash, and the pained yells rang, a huge fiery beam of flames shot at Tatsumaki, but she just floated slightly to the left and it missed her.

'Hmph'

*Flap*

Sounds of flapping were heard and then, a shadow of something like wings was seen before the resulting wind of them flapping dispersed the cloud of dust around.

And then, a beastly form was shown.

A majestic gigantic one…

"So much for a supposed legendary monster, the dragon!"

Tatsumaki's words were enough to describe this monster.

Huge wingspans, four limbs, taught muscles and scales that seemingly could not be penetrated.

Or at least were supposed to, if not for the blood oozing from them at this moment.

*Argh*

The pained yells unceasingly came and the furiousness of the monster expanded on the second.

The monster gathered energy in its mouth to incinerate this tiny human that was like a thorn stuck on its back.

But she didn't seem impressed or anything and even the yells were ignored as if she simply couldn't hear them.

She lifted her hand once again, and this time she controlled the very monster itself. Her energy surged forth at a rapid speed and wrapped around it instantly.

Previously, the rock that was heavy turned light after she manipulated it and that allowed her to raise it with her telekinesis easier.

But what about now?

'Can I also do that to this monster?'

This was a test.

What she wanted to see was if she can do the same things she did before but to a living organism.

Which the monsters undoubtedly were, despite their rage at humans and desire to slaughter them.

With the intent flashing in her eyes, the monster that was gathering another breath of flames to attack her once again was suddenly caught by invisible threads and binded, raised, and then it was kept floating in the sky without any way to move.

The monster went into a full panic at this and it was visible.

'A dragon squirming…' A grin couldn't help but reach her mouth.

Dragons were known to be quite dangerous, and it was recommended to not engage against them as they were known for their mana-resistant bodies, stamina, and raw power and flames, but here she was toying with it as if it was a lowly ranked monster.

Even her eyes widened at how effective it was. The excitement surrounding her was easily seen.

And it was targeted at one thing.

Her faith in the group, and to an extent the group master Ren, increased all of a sudden.

She had always been skeptical of it, but now that she had gotten such a reward and had seen the effects first hand, which in turn had made one of her wishes come nearer to coming true, she had no choice but to trust in it.

She wasn't that stupid to keep doubting it.

*Argh*

Meanwhile, the monster tried to move but it found that it couldn't do anything at all.

And Tatsumaki smirked at it in return.

Normally just raising this beast, or rather just restraining it in place was a time and power-consuming effort that was simply not worth it, since this monster was of the same rank and had huge defensive power against her.

But now, its weight was reduced, and Tatsumaki easily could lift it.

She swung her hand to the sky, and low and behold, the monster being controlled flew to the sky flying higher and higher until it passed the atmosphere and reached outer space where it couldn't breathe.

Along the way, the speed itself led to the monster getting lit aflame and thus being cooked alive while it was sent out to die.

*Arghhhh*

Pained yells still reached from afar as they echoed out.

It was such a horrible thing, but Tatsumaki had no sympathy for monsters.

'It seems this reward is more impressive than I first thought,'

As she saw the monster disappear, she dived into her thoughts.

She could confidently say that because she had spent the entire day fighting and trying to figure out every nook and cranny of this trait.

And now that she did, she was very impressed.

'Fubuki joining the group chat is a good thing,'

Naturedly, her thoughts moved to her sister. Since it was beneficial to her, then her sister who was in it would get something too.

She could understand that much since this would allow Fubuki some opportunities to get stronger that Tatsumaki herself can't give.

'I should apologize… by taking her to eat out or something like that,'

She knew that she had to apologize but she couldn't outright say it, she would die of shame.

So, she'll take her little sister to eat out later.

A smile hung on her lips as she imagined them both having fun later.

And with that, she floated to the exit and left the gate.

For now, she had a gauge of her current strength, her limits, and finally, she had even made plans for the near future.

That was enough for now.
