ANDREW'S P. O. V

I arrived at the company on time. The security guard welcomed me first. He greeted me like I was his colleague and that angered me

"Hello Mr Craine" he said

I angrily held him by his shirt collar

"Is this how you greet your future president and ceo" I said

"I-i-i I'm sorry sir" he said

I threw him on the floor and straighten my suit

"You are fired" I said

I entered the company and walked to the elevator. For the first time I used my father's elevator. I went to the conference room and sat on the chair of my father. Everyone looked at me shockingly.

"Sir please where is Mr Craine" one board member asked

"This is the reason for this board meeting. My father has disappeared. He is nowhere to be found.

"Huh! What!" Everyone gasped except for my siblings

" we can't leave the company and the group without a president and CEO so I think we should appoint a new person" I said confidently

I have actually bribed almost the board members except for those who are my father's puppets.

"Mr Craine please have you inform the police about your father's disappearance" someone asked

I angrily stared at him

"This isn't the time to discuss that. Let's think of the company now" another said

"I think Mr Andrew Craine should be appointed as the president of Empire Group. After all he is the first son of the Mr Michael Craine" another added

"No I think we should wait for Mr Craine to return" another said.

"Why wait for a dead man" I said to myself

They argued and debated about this for a while. All this while my siblings were sitting quietly. Ivana was secretly crying and Patrick kept looking at me angrily

I winked at him

"Enough" one shouted

Everyone was suddenly quiet

"I still think we should wait for Mr Craine's return"

This buffoon still insist on his nonsense. I got angry. I was about to talk when suddenly the door of the conference room opened. I was shocked at whom I saw.

BRIANNA'S P. O. V

I prepared breakfast for Mr Craine. I made sure he took his medicine. Daniel help him dress up. He has gain some strength but Dr Jeffrey said we shouldn't allow him to stress himself. After everything, an helicopter arrived to take up to the company. I saw MAC written on it.

"How can someone own a private jet and an helicopter. This is unbelievable" I said to myself

"We arrived at a parking lot for helicopters. There were cars waiting for us. Mr Craine and I sat on the back seat of the middle car and Daniel sat on the front seat. We arrived at the company shortly. The security guard was hurt . Mr Craine quickly went to him and asked what happened to him.

"Sir it was your son. He pushed me down the floor. I have never been humiliated this way before. He fired me as well" he said

"I'm sorry. I apologise on behalf of my son. Please forget about what happened. You have your job back" Mr Craine said

"Sir you don't have to" the security guard said

Mr Craine smiled at him and entered the company.

Mr Craine held my hand and this shocked me. Everyone was staring at us. He made me join him in his elevator while Daniel and the other bodyguards took the other one. Mr Craine held me by my waist through out the elevator ride. We soon arrived at the conference room floor. Mr Craine once again held my hand. We walked through the hallway with Daniel and the rest following us. I felt like a queen. Soon we got to the entrance of the conference room. We heard everything they were talking about.

"I can't believe Andrew will do such a thing. He is declaring his father missing without contacting the police.

Mr Craine chuckled when he saw Daniel getting restless

"Boss please let's get going already" Daniel said

He came in front of us

We heard someone saying that they needed to wait for Mr Craine's return.

That was when Daniel opened the door and the three of us stood at the entrance looking at Andrew.

"D-D-D-Dad !" Andrew stammered

"Hello everyone. What is going on" Mr Craine said

"Oh my goodness Dad" a young lady run into his arms and the others followed. I guessed these were his children. I turned around and saw Ivana the Singer. She runs into Mr Craine's arms. She was crying

"Please stop crying princess" Mr Craine said

"Dad where were you" she asked

"Let's talk about that later" Mr Craine said

Mr Craine walked straight and stopped in front of Andrew.

"You are in my seat Andy" Mr Craine said

"D-D-D-Dad I-i-i wwwwas just heading the meeting since you are not here" Andrew said

"Thank you very much son. I am back" he said

Mr Craine pushed Andrew away and turned to the board

"As of today none of my children are not part of the board of Empire Group. My children have their own professions and their lives to live so they are no longer connected to my companies and empire. Mr Andrew Craine will no longer be the company's managing director. This also means that the managing director position is vacant as of today" Mr Craine announced

"Dad what is the meaning of this" Andrew said

"You are still going to have my name attached to yours Andrew but I don't want you to work for me or under me anymore. You have your company please concentrate on that" Mr Craine said

He turned to the rest

"This meeting is over" he said

Mr Craine walked out of the meeting. Daniel and I followed. We went to his office

"Boss you are really a generous man. I thought you were going to disconnect him from your life and get him arrested" Daniel said

"I can't Daniel. I love him very much" Mr Craine said

The office door opened and Andrew walked in

"Dad please I want to talk to you alone" he said

"There is nothing to talk to you about" Mr Craine said

"Dad are you doing this because you think this girl (he pointed to me) actually loves you genuinely. Dad this girl is after your money and empire" Andrew said

"So are you" Mr Craine said

"D-D-D-Dad wwwwwhat are you saying? I am your son. You know I love you. I have been a good son to you. why will I be after your property" Andrew Craine said

Mr Craine chuckled

"I didn't want to do this but I have to" Mr Craine said

Just then his children entered

"For years now I have been thinking of death because I thought I had cancer (his children gasped) Andrew you betrayed my love for you. If you love me like you say then why did you poison me, why did you make me think that I have cancer then you feed my bad drugs. You took over my empire as soon as I disappeared. Andrew you and I know that you have committed a crime to me and I should have you arrested but I guess my love for you won't let me so please go and Live your life and let me live mine in peace" Mr Craine said

Andrew stood there quietly

"Andrew I can't believe you did all this. Dad has always been there for us. He gave us everything. How could you do this to him. You are very greedy" Ivana said

"Dad what happened" one of his sons asked.

Mr Craine and Daniel told them everything that has happened

"Dad I can't believe you went through all this" Ivana said

"Andrew I can't let you go because I love you. I promise to be there for you whenever and wherever you need me but please stay away from me. As I promised, I will pay for your wedding and be there as your father" Mr Craine said

"Dad I'm sorry. I don't know what came over me I shouldn't have done everything I did to you. Please forgive me" he said and went down on his knees.

"Get up you know my love for you is my weakness. I can't do anything to you" Mr Craine said

"Thank you Dad" Andrew said

"Andrew please leave the company and move out of my house" Mr Craine said

Andrew nodded slightly

"Oh and you can keep my clothes too since you like them" Mr Craine said with a smile

Andrew walked to the door but returned

"Dad how did you find out it was me" Andrew asked

"I...( Mr Craine was about to talk when Daniel stopped him by touching his shoulder)

"Your father is very intelligent. He is nobody's fool " Daniel said

Andrew walked out shamelessly

Mr Craine turned to Daniel

"What was that" Mr Craine asked

"Sir I am sorry but I didn't want him to know there are cameras everywhere in your house" Daniel said

Mr Craine nodded.

Mr Craine and I worked for a while in his office. He went to his rest room to rest after lunch and I gave him his medicine.

I read through my emails. Some were from Antonella and other friends. I saw that some were from school.

I opened it and read it

It was about our final exams which will happen in a month.

"Oh my goodness with all these commotions, I didn't pay attention to my books. I totally forgot about my final exams for the secretarial course. I was in deep thought when Mr Craine called me

I went to his office

"Sir you sent for me" I said

"Are you doing alright" he asked

I told him everything about my exams.

He smiled and kissed my forehead

"Don't worry dear this is why I called you" he said

He handed me some pamphlets and a parcel.

I opened the parcel. It was a new expensive mobile phone together with credit and debit cards. I stared at him surprisingly

"You lost your phone so I decided to buy a new one" he said

I went to him and hugged him

"Thank you daddy" I whispered

He smiled

He helped me study for the rest of the day. He took me home after the day ended

Daniel drove us to mum's new house

"Muuuum" I shouted excitedly

Mum opened the door and I quickly hugged her.

"I miss you so much" I said with teary eyes

"Awwww I miss you too my dear" mum said

Mum broke the hug and went to Mr Craine

"Sir please how are you" she asked

"I'm good Mrs Bennett" Mr Craine said

Mum held Mr Craine's hand and made him sit. She quickly went away

"What is going on" Mr Craine asked

"I don't know daddy" I said

For some reason Daniel started laughing

"Fool what did you do" Mr Craine said

"Remember when I said I will make your life miserable one day" Daniel said

Mr Craine looked at him blankly

"Daniel what did you do" I asked

"Miss Bennett you will like it" Daniel said

"Dinner is ready. Please everyone come" mum said

"Ooooooh so Mum knew we were coming and you told her" I said and asked Daniel

"Exactly. I even told her to prepare your favorite dinner" Daniel said

"Thank you Daniel. Thank you for reminding me how crazy you are" he said

I burst into laughter

"I am your son so if I am crazy then....(before he could finish, Mr Craine slapped him at the back of his head

I laughed like crazy.

We went to the dinning room.

Though Mr Craine wasn't comfortable, he gently obliged to my mum's request to have dinner with us.

Throughout the dinner Mr Craine and I were surprised by my mum and Daniel. They were getting along so well. They were behaving like friends.

After dinner I walked Mr Craine to the and kissed passionately. I didn't mind the fact we had audience.

Mr Craine and Daniel left shortly.

I turned to my mum.

"Mum what's up with you and Daniel" I asked

Mum just ignored me and went inside. I realised that she has lost weight and has changed her looks.

"What is going on" I questioned myself

I went inside and retired to bed. My new room was spacious and beautiful. Everything was beautiful.

I couldn't sleep well. Maybe it's because I missed Mr Craine.

I went out of bed and got ready for school. Mum dropped me off.

I have missed a lot but thanks to Mr Craine, I was able to march up with the rest of my classmates.
