DANIEL'S P. O. V

The doctors took samples of Mr Craine's blood, saliva and other things. They were taking it to the lab to run some tests. Since he was out of danger, most of the doctors left. Dr Jeffrey and his two assistants were left behind.

I looked at Mr Craine and I couldn't believe he was back with us. I smiled looking at him and his girlfriend. Miss Bennett looked like she has come back from the dead. She was holding Mr Craine very tight. It was like she wasn't going to allow him to get away from her.

"Daniel how are things" Mr Craine asked

I told him everything that has happened and what his adopted son is up to.

"I can't believe the two of you spent your money on me" Mr Craine

"Daddy please this was the only way we could get the antidote and moreover you would have done the same thing for us" Miss Bennett said

"Thanks to you I am alive" Mr Craine said

"Sir I didn't want someone to commit suicide because of you" I said

Miss Bennett gasped. She picked up a pillow and threw it at me

"You sold me out" she said

Mr Craine and I started laughing

"I love you so much I couldn't bare to see the state you were in" Miss Bennett said to Mr Craine

"I love you baby girl. Thank you. What the two of you and Jeff did has proven that I am not alone in this world" Mr Craine said

Mr Craine told me to come closer. He hugged Miss Bennett and I.

"How can there be a group hug without me" Jeffrey said

"Come here dear" Mr Craine said

Jeffrey joined our group hug. We broke it after a while.

"I guess you have not been attending lectures" Mr Craine asked Miss Bennett

"No Daddy" she replied

"Bri....(Mr Craine was about to talk but Miss Bennett stopped him

"Daddy if your life was in danger, would you have gone to work" she asked

"No" Mr Craine replied

"That was how I felt when you were unconscious it was like I was lifeless" she said

"Baby I am so sorry for putting you through a lot" Mr Craine said and hugged her

"Brianna can you please excuse us (Miss Bennett nodded and left) Daniel help me take a bath" he said

He forcefully got up and I helped him to the bathroom.

After a while, I helped him get dress.

"Daniel please when is the board meeting" Mr Craine asked

"Sir according to my sources, it's going to happen next Monday" I said

I realised that Mr Craine had a worried look on his face

"Sir are you alright" I asked

"I can't believe Andrew did this to me. I gave him everything. I did what a father will do for a son for him. I hope that the cancer is fake too" he said

"Sir what will you do to him as punishment" I asked

"A father can't always punish a son for his wrong doings. Thankfully he doesn't know how much I am wealth. He only knows what the world knows" he said

We chatted for a while and I left for him to rest.

MICHAEL'S P. O. V

It's hard for me to believe that a boy I called a son. Someone I raised decided to kill me because of my wealth.

I was in bed when Brianna walked in. I signaled her to come closer to me and she did. She placed her head on my chest and I played with her hair.

"Daddy" she called

"Mmmm" I responded

"Who poisoned you" she asked

I remained silent because I didn't want to worry her

"Daddy please tell me" she said

"Andrew did" I said

"Huh" she gasped and sat up

"I thought Andrew is your son. How can a son do this to his own father. Daddy is there something you are not telling me" she said and asked

I looked at her. I used my thumb to rub her mouth and smiled

"Daddy please tell me" she said

"Brianna i don't have kids of my own. My kids are not mine biologically" I said

"Huh! (I nodded) I thought you were divorced from their mother or you are a widower" she said

"Brianna I have never been married. Remember when I told you that it's been years since I entered into a relationship (she nodded). My last relationship ended twenty years ago. I was young. I loved this lady very much. She broke up with me because I couldn't provide for her" I said

Brianna hugged me and I hugged her back

"I miss your warmth baby girl" I said

"I miss you Daddy" she said

"Come on dear let's go for a walk" I said

She helped me get up. Even though I am heavy, she managed

We walked through the garden hand in hand for a while

"Baby girl I am tired" I said

She gave me some water she brought with her and helped me sit down

"Daddy" she called

"Mmm" I responded

"It's a good thing that your ex left you" she said

I stared down at her and she smiled

"If she had not left you, you wouldn't have been in my life" she said

I chuckled

"Oh my goodness you and your nonsense" I said while laughing

She brought her lips closer and we started kissing. We kissed for a while

"I love you baby girl" I said

"I love you more daddy" she responded

We kissed again

BRIANNA'S P. O. V

"Thank You God thank You for saving Mr Craine. I promised to make him happy and devote my life to You and him from now on" I prayed to myself

Mr Craine and I stayed outside for a while and we returned inside. I took him to the bedroom and went to the kitchen to prepare something light for him.

After a while, I was done. I served Dr Jeffrey some food and placed some in the microwave for Daniel. I took Mr Craine's food to him.

"Daddy your food is ready" I said

"Baby where is yours" he asked

"Daddy please eat after that I will" I said

"Baby we are eating together" he said

"Alright daddy" I agreed

He made me sit on his lap and we both started feeding each other.

"Daddy I know my food is not as tasty as yours but please manage this" I said

"I will eat anything as long as you cooked it" he said

We both ate everything on the plate.

I gave him his medicine and left him to the kitchen.

I went to the kitchen to clean up. Dr Jeffrey came in to the kitchen

"Doctor do you need anything" I asked

"Miss Bennett do you really love Mr Craine" he asked

"I love him more than my life Sir" I said

"Miss Bennett please take care of him. Mr Craine is used to taken care of everyone except for himself.

"He is my life. I have never loved any man like how I love him" I said

"Thank you for loving him. It's rare to see a young lady like you fall in love with an older man. Most ladies are in relationships with older men because they after their money. Thank you for loving Mr Craine genuinely. I hope you give all the happiness a good man needs in life" he said

"I will try my best to love him the way he deserves" I said

"I hope you can give him an heir" he said with a smile

"Huh" I gasped

"Miss Bennett, Mr Craine has worked hard to build a massive Empire. It will be a great reward for him if you can give him a child" Dr Jeffrey said

"I have never thought of it and moreover our relationship is just at its peak" I said

"Alright. Please make him happy" he said

I nodded and he left.

I can't believe Dr Jeffrey said these things to me.

I smiled shyly at the thought of carrying Mr Craine's child.

Mr Craine's lab results was brought and according to the results he is fine now.

"I was diagnosed with cancer years back and I was told I had some few years to live. Based on my calculations and what the doctor said, this year was my last year on this earth" he said

"The doctor lied to you. You never had cancer. You are fit as a fiddle. I think they only told faked the cancer so that they could poison you slowly" Dr Jeffrey said

"Thank you Jeffrey I really appreciate it" Mr Craine said

"You are responsible for what I am today but I haven't gotten the chance to serve you. please don't embarrass further my thanking" Dr Jeffrey said

Mr Craine hugged Dr Jeffrey

"I hope I will be giving the privilege of delivering your children soon" Dr Jeffrey said

I got chocked on my saliva. I saw Mr Craine blushing. He looked at me and winked at me without the rest noticing. I shyly looked down.

Today is Monday and Mr Craine has gained some strength and he is back to normal. He has decided to go to the office. Daniel and I are coming with him too. Looking at Daniel and Mr Craine's behaviour, it's obvious something big will happen today.

ANDREW'S P. O. V

Today is Monday and finally I will be the president and CEO of Empire Group. I will be the most powerful in the world.

I have to admit this is really a miracle, I am finally achieving everything I want. With the information I gathered, it's obvious that Michael Anthony Craine is dead. We have searched for him every country and everywhere I know but he is no where to be found.

I will arrange for his funeral after I officially get everything he has. As for my so called siblings, I have threatened them. I told them I will cut out their expensive lifestyle and make sure they don't get anything if they don't support me.

I got ready and left for the office. For the first time I took my father's V8 car. My bodyguards got into the some of the other cars and followed me. I even wore one of his expensive suits.

Life will be good from today.
