Put a few things in the wedding basinDifferent regions and customs had different types and quantities of things placed in the wedding basin. In some areas, there might be 8 items, such as 6 red dates, 6 peanuts, 6 longans, and 6 chestnuts (all raw) in a pot, tied with red thread, 2 apples, and 6 chocolate gold ingots. In other areas, there might be more items, such as 2 combs, 2 mirrors, 2 soap boxes, 2 fans, and 2 sets of early children. There were also some areas that placed relatively few items, such as soap boxes, sewing boxes, thread, mirrors, combs, thongs, hand-steamed fish (a pair of noodles), cosmetics, and money. In general, there was no fixed number of items. Most of these items had auspicious meanings, and they were meant to wish the newlyweds a happy marriage and an early birth of a child.
The novel "Sitting and Watching Immortals" is equally exciting. Everyone is welcome to click and read it!
What are the things to put in a scary story?Well, there are quite a few things. First, a sense of the unknown. For example, an unexplained event or a strange object that has no obvious origin. Then, elements of the supernatural are great, like a curse or a magic spell gone wrong. Another important thing is a feeling of being trapped. Maybe the characters are in a locked room in a haunted mansion with no way out.

Ghosts are great scary things to put in a story. The idea of a translucent figure that can appear and disappear suddenly can send shivers down readers' spines. Another is a haunted house, filled with creaking floors, cold spots, and strange noises. And don't forget about cursed objects, like a mirror that shows a different, terrifying world when you look into it.
At first, I do not like this novel, but I tried hard to put up with the story, and then I enjoy the story but lately the author has tried to put some unlogical things 😓
