As far as vampires go, these ones are clearly closer to the happy sparkly twilight *COUGH* vampires, but once you get over the anti-twilight rant the story is pretty good. The style is a bit awkward at first and feels more like the action script of a movie than a novel, but I don't dislike it. Al in all, it's more entertaining than bloody twilight.

Love the storyline! Wasn’t even close to what I was expecting. I have always been a fan of vampires and mythological creatures, but they most fit the nature of the creature. This book is exactly doing that. The vampires are nothing like Twilight sparkle vamps. They are bloody and violent just like vampires should be. Excellent job!
