This is one of my favorite military romance novel asides from reborn at military boot camp. The plot is very interesting. The leads are also interesting.

The FL is this story is very interesting I really enjoyed how the FL decided to get around her problems. The FL and ML are very well sketched out along with a few secondary characters. The military backdrop of the novel is detailed enough to move the plot forward but not enough to change the focus of the story to a military's action story so if you want to read a romance with just a touch of military to it this story is for you. If you want to read this novel because you want it to focus more on the Military and secondarily on romance then the novel Reborn at Boot Camp: General, Don't Mess Around! is probably a better choice for you.

Title is very misleading, i am not sure at what point MC will experience Boot Camp but it seems she will have at least 4 years until she can enlist. Story seems ordinary in my opinion.

The story started out pretty good, and then bad things happens and then while at boot camp nothing happens and suddenly brainwashing and a rebellion out of the blue and the ability to crush trained soldiers..sigh. This could have been great if there was space for growing a proper rebellion but no, it had to happen randomly out of the blue. The second the story no longer made any sense i lost interest in this. I rate the early part of the story as four stars, the boot camp part three stars and the rebellion one star. Not sure if the paid parts will be worth it, but i am not interested in finding out.
