Da Ming: I stole Zhu Zhong's rice bowl
"Snatching the Light"
His father, who was suspected to be a transmigrator, rebelled in Taiping Village and proclaimed himself emperor.
In the end, he died halfway through his career.
He left behind three Tomes of Arcane and a prophecy.
…………
Wang Laosan saw that only the father and son were present, so he said,"There are three volumes of the Tomes of Arcane. The first volume is called 'The Barefoot Doctor's Manual' which can win people's hearts. The second volume is called 'The Practice of Water Conservancy' which can fill the granaries. The second volume is called 'Militia Training Course', which can pacify the world."
"All the disciples of my Tian family must be familiar with the first volume and know the second volume. As for the second volume involving military secrets, it must be the crown prince! Your father will leave these three volumes of the Heavenly Book with your mother. Ding 'er, after you have familiarized yourself with it, you must not bring it with you to prevent outsiders from prying on you. Remember this!"
When Wang Ding heard the names of the three Tomes of Arcane, his heart trembled. He could not help but open his mouth to exchange secret signals.

Grammar is good. One of the few fanfics that don't have the MC become OP right off the bat, and thereby removing all suspense from the novel. Unfortunately, much of the story is made of exposition. Ex: Vegeta wished for Bardock to come back to life, and he appeared on the planet That's the typical thing you can find in the story, versus: Ex: Vegeta voiced his wish, and as the dragon Porunga roared, motes of light slowly gathered together forming first a cell, and then bone, before being wrapped in blood and flesh. Bardock had been reborn. So the first example just tells us what happens, i.e. exposition. The 2nd example shows us in a vivid, descriptive manner a scene which forms in front of our eyes. This is the stuff that's found in great books.
