Basically everyone who has upvoted seems to only have done it based on the light sabers in the cover graphic... Wish they would limit reviewing to people who actually read at least.

People are dumb as bricks and rate 5 star before novel is released, saying how they look forward to this novel so much. They dont bother to delete them either. This one probably has a particular high number of those reviews cause lightsabers and dumb nerds go together.

I feel you man, looking for a novel nowaday you should look at negative reviews first of all, all those empty 5 stars reviews are total BS

Give a shot to Silent Crown if you have not already, its one of the better new ones. Just make sure you skip the first chapter and maybe come back to it later, Chapter 2 is honestly the start of that novel. And to keep relevant to the topic, I knew by the synopsis that this one would be pretty bad, not sure why people eat this stuff up but "reincarnated from an IT nerd in the modern world" sets off all kinds of red flags for me.

The story is kind of slow and boring to start off with but it gets good. Give it another try!
