Well, I doubt this story will go in that direction, but Succubi and Incubi in folklore are one and the same. They can change gender based off their target.

If we go technical , Succubus is the one that recibes, so if the MC is gay and he is the one that is getting the action is a correct term. But we know is not the case so yes it is totally wrong here

he has a Succubus system, he is not Succubus.

inaccurate. succubus have different abilities. incubus go into dreams to impregnate women while succubus cannot

No, both could go into dreams. In fact, they looked hideous in reality and wouldn't attract anyone. It was attracting people in their dreams that they got people to sleep with them. And like I said, they where the same creature - they could swap their gender based off the person they would sleep with. They were not treated as the sexy demons as portrayed in media recently. Nobody wanted to sleep with one. The idea of encountering one was viewed as terrifying.

In terms of the fact that incubi also go into dreams, literally any and all search regarding this fact will agree with my statement. I don't get why I need to prove it when anyone can spend 10 seconds googling it and know it is true. I have no clue where someone got the idea otherwise. In terms of them scaring people, look up any info on their correlation to sleep paralysis. Modern anthropologists and psychologists believe succubi and incubi to be a supernatural explanation for that. Sleep paralysis is generally considered terrifying and is often associated with things like PTSD, panic disorders, and anxiety disorders. Do those sound like something anyome would want to experience? As for appearance? Well, that has a lot more variation, especially because one of their obvious characteristics is that they are shapeshifters. I'm going specifically with the Medieval European version as the term Succubus is from there, and that is the form most modern stories adapted and changed from, though to a rather large degree. In the older legends, they were considered to have faces like gargoyles, and long claws on both their hands and feet. In some stories, they didn't even walk - they crawled across the ground when moving. This is, of course, specifically regarding "succubi/incubi." Creatures with similiar characteristics yet appearing beautiful in real like certainly existed before that, but they were not called succubi. They had their own names. Similar stories are so old and so widespread, with appearances varying from beautiful to hideous, that picking from them to find an origin is pointless. So I stuck with the actual word we are using here. WebNovel doesn't allow posting links, so I can't post direct sources. However, as I said before, a simple, quick google by pasting any of my info here will give you plenty of results to verify it. Honestly, I wonder if you asked for a source just to troll me, as this isn't exactly a niche topic. If so, I'll accept that I fell for it and wasted my time with an in depth explanation. Though I'm sure some random trivia lovers might enjoy reading my wall of text.

Harry Potter : Bloodraven

A teenage boy finds himself transmigrated into an alternate version of his favorite fictional universe, equipped with a standard system designed to make his adventure more convenient. — In this fanfiction, the wizarding world is more advanced and more aware of Muggle technology. The one place still lagging behind? Britain, where noble wizards cling to outdated traditions. This is an alternate-universe take on Harry Potter, blending in characters, themes, and ideas from various other universes—movies, TV shows, and books alike. The story will begin by focusing on Harry's time at Hogwarts, with other universes making brief appearances through short chapters or mentions. They won't take center stage until after the Hogwarts years are complete. The pace will be slow at the beginning, as I need to introduce new concepts, world-building, and character development to shape the MC the way I want him before the plot truly kicks off. — The System: First of all, it doesn't control the MC's life. It's not sentient, it doesn't make decisions, and it certainly doesn't control the MC. In fact, the MC could ignore it entirely, and nothing would happen. At first glance, the system might seem a bit overpowered. But give it around 30 chapters, and you'll start to see the balance. The system is just there to help the MC now and then, offering a shortcut when it's convenient. It won't make him invincible overnight. — Pairing: I'm still undecided. Harem? Single love interest? To be honest, I'm open to either and will let the readers decide. The release schedule is set for every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, with one chapter per release, but may increase depending on the support this fanfic receives. — I have a family with two kids—a daughter and a son. I work full-time and dedicate my free time to writing, usually after spending time with my family. This gives me about two or three hours to focus on writing, and I absolutely love it.
