What Kuina was taught was just the simplified and strengthening technique and not the entirety of sun breathing technique. This was done because Ron wanted to save her from her ill fate , for which she needed to become stronger. Also , Ron has received the sign in system which grants him numerous powers some of which have been revealed yet and some will be revealed in upcoming chapters.

I don't get why people want an MC who gets a crew, yet that crew is left far, far behind. What's the point of having other characters who don't matter? There is basically no downside to teaching her even the full skill. He's going to get far more abilities, and he is going to grow far faster. At least this would give her some relevance.
