So far this story is entertaining and balanced. The MC is still quite young and even though he has a cheating system that most stories would use to rocket the MC to the peak this story seems to recognize the importance of character development and actually allows the protagonist to experience the world more before jumping into the more chaotic waters. Knowing the plot and making subtle changes here and there the protagonist makes his mark on the world without completely subverting the plot… which is something that seems appropriate for the time being but I hope the future will see many changes culminating into a new experience while possible eliminating some of the undesirable elements of the original series. I can’t say much more as the story is only beginning but the plot is enjoyable, the writing is skillful, the characters are reasonable, the power given to the MC isn’t too far fetched in the world of Onepiece, the current company he keeps doesn’t effect the canon, and I have high hopes for a grand adventure as the story unfolds.

No romance? Or harem?
I got 44 chapters in… was waiting for chapters to be built up and I haven’t returned yet. 😅 I can tell you that up to chapter 44. He had one love interest. But I don’t think it was actually a love interest so much as a female companion. I can’t confirm or deny the existence of harem, but if you don’t like harem I suggest you avoid fanfiction in general. It’s a genre closely related to fan service.
