I really don’t understand Chinese fanfiction how can China in particular create fanfiction that is just generally worse then every other ones out there. Is there something I’m missing because it’s not like every Chinese person wants to write badly writen characters and stories that don’t really make sense.

they mostly write the first 20-30 chapters well, then after getting contracted they'll just write for that monthly pay and word count

There are a lot of good Chinese fanfics tho. You just need to search for it. For example I read konoha hypocrite witch is pretty good. I like hxh so i hope this one truns out to be good as wll.

China has strict speech rules or the idea of freedom of speech doesn’t at all exist in China. The reason that most fanfics always praise China or always politicize their stories isn’t because most want to but kinda have to. Look at what happened to Reverend Insanity one of the most respected eastern fantasy stories out there. But because of how dark and crazy that storie was and popular the author actually got in a lot of trouble with the law that he had to take a break and completely change his writing style which is why you don’t really hear about his other stories now. So for why they suck is because most are heavily political and since Chinese author get paid in a weird structure. Which is why most have a great first 30 chapters but horrible after because they aren’t paid to keep a story great but to just push out chapters by publishers over there. That’s why 99.9% of Chinese ffs suck
Personally Chinese fanfics are the best really. The Wind Calamity, Will of Embers are good none Chinese ones but Chinese ones generally better. Read Reborn in Naruto with Tenseigen, The Strongest Kakashi, forgot rest

This commentor is right but you can find gems mixed within dirt. Unlike Chinese novel where they actually studied how to right and are actually healthy adults seemgly, most original novels are made by annoying teenagers or disgusting weebs.

Oh, if you say any chinese ff, then write with your balls smth better than Fairy Tai: I don't want to be president, This Uchiha is a bit too cautios, Reborn with Tenseigan, Super detective in the fictional world, Ethan’s Fantasy Drift, I Play Yu-Gi-Oh Card Game. There are many good chinese ffs, its just that more chinese are writting just for salary, or good authors write originals, which is also good thing.
Well reborn with tenseigan is also one that Fettes worse and worse over time mainly bc the author makes every villain gain easy power ups also they never die so that even at chapter 700 something no major enemy got killed by the mc. And they are all somehow on his level
Chinese authors shine the most when writing xianxia but even then they still F up

its the customs and education, living under developed doesnt help either. Their while language and speech relies on part assumptions and current stereotype. If you are smarter or more creative to come up with multiple answers to a reply or a problem they would even think youre stupid to not assume the intended conclusion. The flexibility of perspective, language, and education, and subtle suppression from offshore influences make their minds brittle and unmalleable resulting in mass plaigarism and no creative inventions.
