Nothing really interesting here, same old join hestia and a standard system. Seem to be a a couple steps down compared to their dxd fanfic.

LIKEFor me its the same issue as many other similar novels: Don't like the MC. That's 95% of the novel, yet many authors mess it up. From what I read of 2 chapters, the MC is indecisive (even when forced by circumstances to make a decision he still feels bad about it, constantly worry, and never just accepts and goes with it), weak-willed, hesitant when speaks all the time, it feels like most of his talking is "hmm... ok big Rose". Others called him a pus*y and I guess its the impression, I just prefer calling it weak minded. The plot drives the story, not the MC, things happen to him, he doesn't create situations. He went into the dungeon with his system, no Familia which is against the rules, someone found him and told him to join a Familia or he will be reported, he kept going into a dungeon until he was forced to choose. He didn't realize the basic logic he has to choose or stop going, he just dragged it along like a child (or a horror movie character) hoping it wont happen. When he was forced he didn't go for Hestia, he had someone else go ask her to come to ask him... Not a leader, not someone you would follow and not someone to read about. Not asking for gods gift to humanity, just average level of critical thinking. People are stupid, a person can be smart. The MC is people.
Your grammer is so top notch I like the way you actually critique the novel instead of saying “ boo it’s bad” Random question but do you have any story recommendations fanfic or otherwise?
thank you for saving my time i hate these types of mcs the most
Hard agree. My most despised excuse I see is "It's for character development." An excuse that shows a complete lack of understanding of what character development even is. Character development does not require a person to go from being lame and boring, to someone incredible. It's just required to ensure that the world has some impact on the characters. Any change works: negative, positive, or as simple as changing a hairstyle. It's to prevent the world from feeling artificial - like it is nothing but a game the protagonist plays. If you write a MC nobody is interested in, nobody will stick with the novel long enough for that character to turn interesting. Anytime I see people use that excuse, I know the novel is already doomed.
