How long ago did you make the report? And what country do you live in? Because copyright laws vary with different countries. an depending on the country your novel would be protected by those laws and webnovel would have a certain amount of time to take down the other person's copyrighted book/punish the other person. failing to do so can lead to legal ramifications in the court of law and face punishments of civil lawsuits, financial penalties etc. You could also do a lawsuit against the other person and they would face pretty much the same punishment and sometimes worse.

24 days ago, and the US. Webnovel they told me that they can't take it down unless I make a DMCA report, which I'm not sure I even can because TECHNICALLY the story is mine but the universe isn't, I wanted to talk to an actual lawyer to see if I could get in trouble for it.

I understand that it is AU and all, but can you please specify the timeline? First 3 chapters it looks like it is set in the old republic era, chapter 4 mentions Boba fett, who is several thousand years to soon to be in Old republic. It just confuses and breaks immersion

loved it, but after aidens story ended, I kinda just skipped around and read the Aiden focused chapters. but a great book would have loved for more Aiden focused chapters.
