So I will break down why I dislike this story. 1.) The Chinese MC hypocritical view on gods, Chinese people claim to be atheist but in this story and most story's they always want to be a god I find it frustrating to read these two faced MCs and its frustrating to see this type of attitude as it just comes off as only I can be a god any other god but me is a fake god. 2.) The main character feels like a mild psychopath his reasons for obsession and pursuit of magic come off as petty and not very reasonable. 3.) The repeated emphasis on his lack of enthusiasm towards others and his relationships is dull and uninspiring as it gets beaten to death repeatedly and used as and excuse to often cover up for his lack of personality. 4.) MC personality- Based on his lack of motivation towards interacting with others, it just makes him seem more petty and he puts in zero effort to have any meaningful connection if he sees no immediate benefit which isn't the norm for people and the author tries to make this out to be a special trait for him but it just causes him to seem weird in my opinion. The people who claim that its normal for people to only seek out others for their own benefit are obviously not normal and I find the idea that they think it is worrying as they seem to have physiological issues. Remember I said its not the norm but not that it doesn't happen thank you. 5.) The ideas on magic have some merit and seem interesting, but this is ruined by the fact that this kid is only 1st year when he starts exploring those ideas with by the end of his 1st year only having the equivalent of 3rd year level knowledge I just find the whole idea that he comes up with all these ideas that later prove right far fetched and make it hard to me to believe. 6.) The jumps in logical reasoning for him to figure out the chamber of secrets information so easily with just partial bits of information was unnecessary as the author gave him half baked knowledge of the first book and nothing else yet he was able to piece together the whole plot of the second book in the matter of a summer with little information. I feel this was just a plot hole being filled when it was easier to just say he had half baked knowledge of all the books then pick and choose what is missing and what is available. I know this is just a fictional story and I shouldn't get to hung up on realistic interpretations but I have my preferences and opinions on what I enjoy to read and I dislike power fantasy, HP is a universe with low-magic so the whole premise of this book breaks the world view in my opinion making it a bad story. The philosopher stone is the ceiling of Alchemy in the story and the side effects are well described making the idea of becoming a god or immortal beyond that unlikely and whimsical I can see the story wanting to take the path of cultivation novel and it probably will.

due to 3 and 4 I'm out, thanks. I've been reading hp ffs and I've personally found i get board with a solo mc that isolate themselves. I just feels like the writer is trying to turn hp into a cultivation world.

I believe they were referring to the irreverence found in CN in general and not just this one. Most CN novels tend to put down any forms of gods as being just slightly more powerful beings that the mcs will eventually surpass if not outright kill while the mcs themselves become the new god that they looked down on.

This fanfiction offers a very intriguing premise with great potential. By combining the character of Andy Collins, who starts his magical journey from scratch in the Harry Potter universe, the story gives us the chance to witness how someone new to magic can evolve into a powerful wizard, with challenges and new discoveries at every step. The story is compelling because it not only focuses on the immense power of magic but also on how magic is connected to one's mind and intentions. The concept that magic is not just about spells but also about inner strength is fascinating and opens up space for deep psychological exploration. Andy, who is still learning, can teach us the importance of self-control, focus, and a deeper understanding of the magical world. The quest for immortality, rooted in magic, is a theme that always raises questions about morality, ethics, and sacrifice. Following this path gives the story depth, where Andy's major decisions will shape his fate鈥攚hether he chooses eternal life at the risk of losing something more important or accepts the limitations of life as part of its true meaning. The identity of a wizard needing to align with their responsibility is at the heart of this story, and how Andy learns to wield magic wisely, despite its vast power, delivers a strong message about maturity and morality in using strength. Overall, this fanfiction strikes a balance between adventure and introspection, with plenty of room for character and world-building in a magical universe full of mysteries. Andy's decision to embark on this journey is deeply moving, and readers will surely be eager to follow how he discovers himself as both a wizard and a person in a magical world full of challenges.

Woman with the Tiger Eyes in the Beast World

Sienna travelled to another world when she found a beautiful crystal in the sea. This wild land is ruled by warriors, who can change into ferocious beasts. Females are scarce in this world, they have more males to ensure their protection, but not every tribe treats them well. Sienna first meets an Ape prince who likes her to be his but scares her halfway to his village. She ran from him but he tried to get her back by force. The huge snake retrieves her for himself as for his food. She decided to play a game of wits with him, to give her 3 chances to escape. She will encounter a tiger Lord, who is so smitten with her, that he will gladly die for her, the wicked and exotic Scorpion King, the cold and dangerous eagles and the Black Dragon who can destroy all others. Sienna will need to use all her wits and beauty to tame these beasts. This story is not as gruesome or violent as regular Chinese stuff here, because I'm European, so it is kind of easy to read but it still has hot content, twists and an interesting storyline. The setting ranges from ancient, medieval to almost modern. I had to move this book to novels as it is not fanfic, I made the mistake with the settings and I will keep updating there as well for you who have been reading here for some time. This story in the novels is called Woman with the Tiger eyes in the Beast Warrior's World. Thank you so much for reading. Also this is uncontracted story, so enjoy the free reading:-)
