The MC doesn't seem like the protagonist; he lacks his own goals and came from another world just to help Doflamingo with his objectives. Why all this idolatry for Doflamingo? The guy just came from another world and has this attachment, which is very strange especially when he feels nothing for his father. His father may be foolish and naive, but at least he never tried to intentionally harm them. However, he knows very well what Doflamingo is capable of, so this idolatry doesn't make sense. It's okay to like him, but any sensible person would be suspicious. Doflamingo is a guy who has no problem killing his own brother if necessary.

LIKEI have to say I agree with the guy. Don’t get me wrong, the writing is really good. The quality is quite high, especially for this platform. I greatly enjoyed your Naruto fanfiction and I thought for sure that I would feel the same about this novel. Unfortunately, the MC for this novel is a follower and his personality is almist completely based Doglamingo. MC wants power? All to complete the goals of doflamingo. MC is worried? Doflamingo. Every single decision he makes even if it is detrimental to his own well-being is for the benefit of an insane megalomaniac who literally just wants to see the world burn. I could probably stomach such devotion if it was returned but it’s really not. More than that the relationship seems very forced. From the get go this guy was obsessed with doflamingo someone he is well aware would have no problem killing him. It’s like watching a submissive g*y boy simping after a murderous psychopath. Or perhaps an abused wife staying with her drunkard husband saying that he loves her and hurts her for her own good. After I realized that I couldn’t really read any more. I don’t mind character that have some dependency on each other as long as it’s mutual. But this guy would gladly kill himself if he thought it would benefit his “brother”. If you ever decide to write another One Piece fanfiction with a character more similar to your Naruto fanfiction, I will definitely read tho. One piece is defnitely my favorite fanfiction world. It has the best power system IMO. A character with a tragic backstory who is reincarnated into the one piece world, only to realize that this world is no different and that to change that he has to be the strongest and have the strongest most loyal crew. An adventure where he gathers his crew, explores non cannon islands, hones his martial arts and haki while developing relationships with locals and his crew. Finding a ruin of the previous dynasty and discovering a mythical zoan of some sort and establishing his name as a person to be respected and feared all across the world. Known for his strength, passion and kindness towards the masses while still being utterly ruthless to his enemies. Growing stronger and stronger until he stands at the top of the world. Finding a lover and maybe even discovering a route to longer life like mastering seimen Keikan to such a level that he can control his own DNA. Discovering the secret to devil fruits and learning how to manipulate them. Discovering new advanced uses for Haki. The list goes on. That’s something that not just me, but many would toss power stones hand over fist to read. Anyways, that’s just an idea of course. Either way, good luck on your writing.
I also liked the idea of the boons you gave your character in naruto. Like giving a a guy reincarnated in one piece 3 boons. Imagine what someone like the MC I described previously with an increased max talent boon, an intelligence boon and the voice of all things. Or perhaps a boon that maximizes his vitality or alters his race into a perfect human. Anyways these are just ideas. Ignore them if you aren’t interested.
cool but aint reading all of that
that's a great idea man and i agree u
Try One piece path to power it has some of what you said you wanted non cannon islands and devil fruits, immense mastering of haki and devil fruit, and potentially the semei kiekan
I'm currently reading it but I lost a lot of interest after the author made it so that heavy devil fruit usage costs lifespan and that seas tone restricts haki.
oh yeah, now i remember, but wasn't it the same with gear 2 when luffy had bad mastery over it? It was honestly nothing important and was just used to make things seem more important in both scenarios. They both have better mastery rn and Damien will probably get a longer lifespan with seimei kikan anyway.
I just dislike the idea that overusing a devil fruit costs lifespan instead of just making you bedridden afterward. The whole thing doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me. It was the haki think that really got me tho, seas tone has nothing to do with haki.
I think it affects the haki of DF Users, otherwise any level 6 prisoner could’ve escaped
