What can I say? I find myself enjoying what I wrote even when rereading it to make sure I didn't make any mistake, so it's OK, I guess? I'm writing just for fun and practice, so I devote a reasonable time to the outline and few details of the world I'm building (upon the sometimes nonsensical one from Pokemon). What I try to do is get as close in quality to my favorite Pokemon Fanfics, Hard Enough from Viva01 and The New Normal from CartecFF. If my fic get half as good as theirs I will be pretty happy with myself. Have a great time reading Pokemon EM and any other novels!

Author loves angst. Too many loop holes. And situations get forced to "push" mc to brink of death and despair. Its unnatural and unrealistic.Its irritating. All this EM power and metaknowledge but messing up still.

The last chapters very disappointing it seems that the MC does not move forward if he does not go backwards, he acts worse and worse, the only way for him to change his attitude is to have his pokémon murdered because he deserves it, nor does Ash act like that in that way[img=faceslap][img=faceslap][img=faceslap][img=faceslap][img=faceslap][img=faceslap][img=faceslap][img=faceslap]

As usual, romance and proper characterization leads to a story floundering. The concept is great, the pokemon and their personalities are written well. The battle scenes are very good. However, there are some issues: 1)The author struggles with how to characterize the MC. At one moment he is a rational mature character, but then the next he is a moronic or blushing fool stumbling through life with no control. 2)Side characters feel like they have little to no personality, and this holds true slightly for the MC and unforgivably for the female lead. The female lead has the personality of wet cardboard and within a short amount of chapters the mc (due to his own idiocy m) is locked into being with her. The pokemon, funny enough, feel more human than the humans. But that being said the female lead makes this nearly unreadable to me. 3)Awful romance. I think this ruins the story in its entirety. He reveals one of his most precious secrets. Shares his cheat. Props her up increasingly close to his level, and worst of all lets himself be bound for life to an incredibly mid and boring woman via ignoring the obvious signs. There are countless more interesting, lively, and beautiful chapters in this world yet our mc is now stuck with a trash female lead. If the romance wasn’t so god awful and cringe I would probably rate this at least 1.5 points higher, possibly 2. Overall, if you can tolerate inconsistent MCs and trashy romance then the rest of the story makes this worth at least an attempt to read. 6.8/10, if romance was not such a disaster ~8.2/10.

Well written but horrendous MC with plot holes galore. First 10 chapters are pretty awesome and interesting, but 11+ the story suddenly changes into a grim dark style that makes no sense.

The "EM" seems like a neat ability but the main character is inept, he can't do anything, he may as well be a quadriplegic and the story wouldn't change much. Pokemon typings only matter when the moves are super effective against his pokemon or weak against other pokemon, basically the main character's pokemon are f***ed no matter what.The main character has superpowers but doesn't use them to fight, even when it's a life or death situation.

not my type of story i like strong mc so nooooooooooooo

I like this story very much, although with the current pace and the speed of development of mc op ability and pokemon, I don't see how the story can continue above 100 chapters without getting dull, his team grows to fast is my point. Maybe he will pull a xianxia trick and travel to an alternative dimension with average stronger pokemon to fight, but at that point, it will be harder to keep the story interesting, in my opinion.

Without a doubt, the best written story on this app. That encompasses all novels and fanfics. I've read far too many novels and ff's, so again from personal experience; this is the best writing I have seen in all my 5 years on this app. Not only that, the plot itself is quite nice, and it's different. The flow of the story is consistent, it's adventurous, it has a slice-of-life vibe to it, the character has an actual past, and there's been some decent (but not alot) of character development. Most of its recent development but development regardless.
