Really well written in terms of diplogue and plot. I highly suggest giving this a try. However, the issue for me is that I dislike the premise that he can only use D&D magic. Also, as someone not very familiar with D&D upon looking into the magic system I utterly despise how it functions. Thus, I will say this is a great story just not to my own taste. 7.2/10, solid and worth trying.

Hard for me to make that comparison. But I would say the strongest spells from DnD are stronger than the strongest spells from potter verse. But if you aren’t max level then I think a top tier mage from the potterverse is way way stronger. Heck even at max level dumbledore level mages might win.
Yah that was what I was thinking dnd has more powerful spells but only have a few cast while Harry Potter magic is more versatile and ezy to use but it’s harder to cast spells that are powerful. Idk if that’s a good traid off tho
I think it’s an awful trade off tbh. The fact you can spam teleport and killing curse or disintegrate are a one shot means I would much rather be a potter wizard. Also, there are plenty of nonsense artifacts like time turners.

Don’t get too caught up in the little things. It’s all the translator’s fault. But I was too lazy to correct it... and especially since everyone understood what it was about
That's fair. Given how unforgiving the Spell Slot system is in D&D it doesn't make sense for it to exist in a magical universe where generally magic could be used endlessly.
