Also, if you happen to have any questions, you can state them in this comment section. - 'What is this novel about?' It is about a young man named David, who starts his career in the criminal underworld as a gangster working for a small-time crime family. The story is set in a modern-day world setting but later on, the world background will keep changing as David travels to different worlds. Other than that, the novel will also include cults, secret societies, supernatural stuff, etc. - 'Can you describe David? Will he be overpowered?' In the beginning, David is a normal kid just like any of us. But after going through a series of ordeals, his personality changes to that of a cold, goal-oriented killer. He starts off weak but you can expect him to be slightly overpowered against those of the same level. - 'Will there be romance? What about a harem?' Sorry, no harem. And yes, there will be a romance but I'm planning to make it a slow one. Gotta develop those feelings between the couple first, ya know. - 'Why did you give yourself a 5-star review? Isn't that too shameless?' Huh? A 5-star review? Idk what you're talking about. Besides, shameless is just a word. I prefer thick-skinned. Hmph! Anyway, I hope you guys enjoy this novel. Haven’t caught up with the most recent chapters but I enjoyed the pacing, world build, and web of connections around the main character. I liked the concept of development as the MC was dragged into a vortext of ups and downs. From the very begining of the novel, we witness how the MC is driven into a corner of extremes no matter what decision he makes. We also witness the gray world outside the MC’s cognition, such as the sequence of mysterious events that ultimately irons out his personality. It could be said that he didn’t develop because he wanted to but because he was forced to. The entire premise is a new touch in fantasy novels, and the first chapter truly leaves one hanging in anticipation to experience the short yet evenful few years foreshadowed in but one climatic introductory chapter.

This came up on my recommended reads, so I gave it a try. Seeing that it had only 60 chapters, I thought it was a new author starting out (didn't know that this was the same person that is writing the Deceitful One), so in terms of quality of writing I wasn't expecting much. Let me tell you this I was blown away by the quality, it was amazing... perfect... and satisfying to read. Then, the plot itself is amazing and hooked me in quite quickly, the build up to the launch of the system in the first volume was something quite interesting and something I hadn't seen before and when the system activates and we see David's new ability in action, all I can say is that it is so overpowered (it's not overpowered in the sense that it makes David unbeatable, just in a different way that you will learn when you read the novel) Despite there being a lack of a system in the first volume, the author kept my interest the whole time because of the sheer amount of action. Speaking of action, the fight scenes are the pièce de résistance, they are so complex yet simple that you don't feel confused about what's going on and you also feel the energy of the scene which pumps you up so much. Keep up the good work Panda.

If this novel is anything like his other one, 'The Deceitful One', we're in for a good time.

Another Author that gives up on the book before it even gets started🤦🏾‍♂️ It’ especially irritating when you choose to spend money because you like the and want to support the author only to be abandoned. My star ranking is the way it is because the author does not finish what they start simple as that.

It is panda so you can always expect good writing quality.Will give story development 5 stars cause the story is just that good in a nutshell, how it progresses from 1st chapter to 21(till where I read) is just that good.Character design is good as the mc is dragged into something far greater than his knowledge and capabilities so he is developing both mentally and physically linearly.Updating stability is 1chapter/day so can't really complain bout it.(Two chapter a day whereeee!!)World background is especially good in this as it is kind of unique imo, from small gangs to even a universal level. It is like author's other work and is like behind the shadows kinda stuff, which I really like!In overall it is a good read.

This novel for me has the potential to be one of the best in this platform if you continue to improve your writing, and if you continue to improve your story. From Chapter 1 to chapter 60, I liked the pacing of the novel, and that’s one of the things I like about this novel. The writing quality at this current moment is excellent. It’s really good, but I see a lot of potential in your writing if you can continue to improve. So, for now because it has been only 60 chapters. I am going to put it at 5 stars because it has been good. My second thing about this novel is the update stability, and it’s one of the best updates stability that I have ever seen. So, I am putting at 5 stars. The story development I am going to put at 4 stars because the story has been good, but I feel where we at 60 chapters, and maybe you do it in the next 40 chapters. I think in this current moment with your writing quality, I feel that you can do more and make the story development great. But, for now I put it at 4 stars because it has been good. The character designs has been really good, and for this moment I would put it at 5 stars. Now, for the background I was tempted to put at 5 stars, but I am not going to put there yet. I feel at this moment that you have done a good job at doing background, and I really like the similarities that it has with John Wick if you watched the 4 movies. And I really feel that in the future I would put it at 5 stars. But, I feel at this moment you could introduce the clans in France, and you could do it with Natasha. So, in conclusion I really like this novel, and I hope that you can continue to improve because I feel that this novel can be better than your first novel, and I see a lot of potential that you can fullfill if you do the writing and story right. This book is by far one of my favorite on this app. The character development of the MC so far is praiseworthy. Worth the read
