The AN in chapter 11 doesn't let me "understand the scenario", it's just empty reassurances. Can you actually explain—or even just hint—why it is like that, rather than a vague "Trust me bro, I totally know what I'm doing."?

Ofc it is, but people are asking to be spoiled because they can't see a scenario where it isn't something dumb. But even if the author doesn't want to give spoilers, saying "you should've read the author note in chapter 11 to understand the scenario" when the author note on chapter 11 doesn't do anything to explain the scenario is just stupid.
