Overall season 6 of the show is widely confusing since it's obvious that they wanted to try and make it seem that the one valka took is the same as the one shown in the movie but it just doesn't work with the timeline nor what was said in the movie especially since the time between the show and the 2nd movie is probably a couple of months

The adult alpha did just dissappear and never mentioned again and the one in the movie is different from the show as valka has been living with that alpha for 20 years so since she left berk and the egg wasn't mentioned again either.
