The start isn’ t bad for what seems like a translated Chinese novel, but then the author suddenly made the mc an homophobe for no apparent reason. It was pretty strange considering that he prides himself as being a righteous paladin ready to immolate himself for a cause he believes just and starting to hate a group of people doesn’ t seem to be in line with his ideals of justice.

Writing Quality: Good grammar and spacing no noticeable errors which is good. Honestly the author really flushes out the story well, of course the time skips are really big, and it is fine, considering that the timeline take places during the Rock Pirate Era, which I am perfectly fine with. The MC is someone who is cold, due to his traumatic experience with pirates, which is well written and of course he joins the marines and how the author does it make his character so flushed out. I like how the author also really show his ideology and how he reacts in certain situations which help explore the MC emotional trauma even more. What I wished the author would do more though is for the MC to hang out with his love ones more, I know he is cold, but I want more wholesome scenes at times. Other than that the story is really well written that it feels like it could be a side story or cannon. It fits the One Piece world so well in my personal opinion. Story Development: Really fast story development, the time line go by so fast in my personal opinion, but we get to see a lot of growth of the characters which I really do like. His character development is amazing in my personal opinion from someone who is obsessed at killing pirates from his tragedy as a child to someone who is obsessed with justice and the flaws of the World Government. How the author does it makes me wanna keep reading. Character Design: Obviously we are gonna have some good old one piece design but I wished we have an image of our MC, I might have missed it but yeah nothing much to say other than one piece. Updating Stability: It updates fine, honestly the updates is one of the good things about this novel. World Background: It is One Piece the world is about freedom, tragedy, death, and love. What world is more open and have its secret like one piece. Summary: This novel is amazing overall, I wish it could have more wholesome moments in the novel, like the MC with his daughter of granddaughter. I also want a bit more lore or action in the story. As it feels a bit too fast pace but I am all for it. Other than that, it is a good novel and I would reread it again!

Great story you can feel the main character struggling as he walks through each torturous stage of his life.I cant say this story doesn't have its flaws but what doesn't .The mc is still lacking in the emotions aspect but there is reason and development behind it.

Good book. The author will take you on an emotional rollercoaster This is not an adventure type of book about friendship and all the light-hearted stuff. But want you will get is a one piece story on emotions, morals, political intrigue, and the world's dark side. Lastly, there is a lot of foul language the book.

I really enjoyed 1st 40 chapters . But the recurrent transphobia becomes apparent after this , It's a shame I really like the MC but just fell very uncomfortable reading about his supposed hatred for Homophilia
