the story is average and cliche but that's normal, the story is slow, it would be nice if the mc plans to travel and learn more about magic, the mc seems to have some ambitions, apart from training he doesn't do much to prepare for the future, he doesn't even have a henchman.

i understand ppl are used to 6 to 10 years old mc's having henchmans and other things like curb stomping other powerful characters, but in my story u cant find that . in this story i wanted a sliver of realism with the mc. 10 years olds dont have henchmans, they would have friends, yes the mc is reincarnated but he has the body and brain of a child, in my mind it should definitly effect a person's character and thinking massively and i clearly told it in the summary , it is going to be a slow burn story . i dont want to gloss over his childhood saying he got a bunch of this and that, then got op . i respect your opinion, it is a bummer you didnt like it but i cant do anything about that. i m writing because i want to get a better understanding of english and i know i have many shortcomings.
I do like the story, but I'm just saying that a lot of chapters recounting his childhood can end up boring.
after chapter 40 more action starts happening and more time jumps going to happen.
I really don't know how you rate the story as 'average' or 'excellent' because it seemed like you just rated it based on your preferences and not on the quality of the story (e.g. grammar, updates, world building), which can be quite misleading. As far as I know, this novel is quite different from most of the ASOIAF and GOT fanfictions out there, since it avoided the usual cliche (e.g. MC with great memory, recalling all the details of the book or series, and planning everything into perfection)
I agree with the original review that its average, because you could have put this entire story into any other medieval world and NOTHING would have changed. MC is an insignificant smallfolk whose only purpose so far is to learn his druid magic, train with the sword, and make animal besties. With no knowledge about the world he's in, there is no way for him to prepare for the future. He also keeps his magic hidden, so the only real skill he can showcase to garner fame and attention is his sword skills. At the snails pace the story is going and all the other things mentioned above, I can't see this story really picking up at any time in the future
I may not call it as 'average' because that is such a 'vague' term in defining the quality of the story, but I do agree that the plot is snail-paced and should be hastened a bit to keep moving forward. I hate harem-seeking MC but I won't call such novels as unworthy or average just because it does not fit my preference on how the MC should act, and what MC should possess and have. Rather, I focus on plot holes (if the MC and the characters are acting off). Him having his memory erased is part of the plot and does not warrant an 'average' rating even if hated, although this might (many times) would turn off readers because his ability to prepare for the future is gone. And him hiding his druidic skills and showing only his sword skills is logical, because hey, the North hates warging and such stuff, and he might be executed. So, overall, I don't describe novels as average but I simply label them as 'I hate his novel' or 'I love this novel' or 'bad quality because grammar, sucks, world building is not shown properly, character design is confusing, update is terribly bad). Game of Thrones itself is not unique, and the Lord of the Rings is far better when it comes to world building. What makes it well-loved by the readers is the 'expect the unexpected' theme, 'protagonists are not safe' vibe, and character designs, albeit having many imperfections (that's normal).
