This review is at chapter 70~ (minor spoilers) Honestly, this novel is pretty good and I suggest giving it a read, but it most definitely isn't for everyone. All the bases of a good novel are hit like a good power system, interesting concept, lots of things to be discovered, etc.) The more glaring issue, and honestly why some people will drop this novel, is the MC. To put is plainly, the MC is more or less an idiot consistently. For some reason, the author makes him 25 years old when his actions are more in line with someone who is around 16. He constantly craves validation yet acts like a man child several times. To top it off, in a tournament, for reasons purely chalked up to plot contrivance, doesn't kill two of his enemies. The author excuses this by saying he isn't focused on killing but exploring and seeing new things. That doesn't make any sense because...you know... he is literally in a pvp tournament and used to be top 1% in a pvp centered game. I will keep reading because I hope, maybe naively, that the MC won't stay a complete idiot for long and the rest of the novel is pretty cool.

LIKEI hope its true , i am at chapter 80 where he owe a favour to 4 people for some dumb reasons and he thought mana breathing + body cleansing to clear the favour and in return he got a bunch of diee wolf soul cores...it was the most idiotic deal in the whole novel universe by a 25 yr old
Tyson_1102:Update at chapter ~150: The attitude of the MC as well as the vibe of the novel got much better and I 100% recommend it.
I think that was a really good deal those cores made him alot stronger and all he had to do was teach them a technique which cost him nothing to do

yea but those techniques are really powerful and didn't ask his teacher before sharing them it could of been family secret technique and just threw it out there to a person he barely knows the whole deal was incredible stupid and dumb i mean he already gave away all his soul cores then he still owns them a favour which could be anything basically like give me your gold i nees a sword and he wouldnt be able to decline because the only limits on the contract were that it must not cost him is life
