If you want to know my story, then you must learn I'm one of the very few Outworlders who came to your world for miscellaneous reasons. No, not those angelic beings dawned from heaven to dictate divine decree, obviously. Well, my exterior was a big giveaway. I was just one of those poor saps that got thrust into your world when a crazy practitioner screwed around with higher-dimensional laws. - - - So, I've decided it's about time to leave the obligatory 5star review. First, this is a story where the protagonist ascends and becomes a godly figure. Also, I will not convince you to read this story. I think a couple of chapters are enough for you to know if the story is for you. It is easy going in the beginning, but has a gritty theme and a blend of grimdark and humour. If you're still not convinced, then stick around for the memes, banter, and the wifus. . . Now for the reasons you'd STAY AWAY from the story - No Murderhobo (but there will be apocalyptic fights) - No Cartoonish Villains (cuz this ain't for kids) - No System Window (cuz the author doesn't know numbers)

LIKESadly, I can do nothing for you. you have two choices: drop the book or keep on reading. tbh, I'm pretty sure your mindset won't change you don't like slice of life.
Welp.. I kinda like the Slice of Life genre cause it's interesting.. But the emotions of every characters are plain, you might add some '?' or '!' and '!?' for some reaction to make the characters more like a living.. and execution of the story feels bland.. There's more things to improve
I don't like to use unnecessary signs, and I didn't know why you felt their exchange lifeless. first time getting criticism for that. Well, each human is unique, so your interpretation might be different from most people. But it's cool, for example, I have found the humour I like is insufferable to many.
