I've avoided making reviews since most author's go all "If you don't like it than just leave" and they love their 5 Stars with 0 review sense since it boosts their book(I'm talking about you "More More More More More More"). But this book forced me to review it, it was just that on a pain, I'll get to that later let me review each aspect then rant about the book. 1- Writing Quality: The writing is decent, it could be better and maybe it improved but this is from the first 5 chapters so I don't have a extensive base to go on. The main problem with the writing is punctuation and dialogue marks like quotes and all that (When he thinks, talks to the system and speaks). [3 Stars Here] 2- Story Development: Yikes 😬... The first 4 chapters doesn't give any insight to the hosts current life and the scene with the doctor was forced and rushed. No how are you feeling and all that, just look into my eyes now give me your tongue. [1 Star Here] 3- Character Design: ... He is stupid... Natasha giggles ... The system is Sassy and prideful... The doctor is invasive and dismissive... Those are all the characters that showed up till chapter 4. The system is a better MC than the MC Because the system actually thinks about the choices that it gives while he just goes "Young Master" mindset and is like "I want this so I'll do this no matter what." [1 Star Here, if only we could give zeros...] 4- Updating Stability: The only redeeming part of this book is that when there's a schedule it is followed. [4 Stars Here] 5- World Background: The world is decently designed since we know it's Marvel's New York but the detail in locations are the bare minimum. We don't know if where is is has people until they look at him funny. [3 Stars Here] Overall: 2.4 Honestly if I was one of those impulsive readers that give 1 Stars just because they didn't like a book I'd be doing it with this one. We've all added that book to our library and removed immediately after the first few chapters with how bad it was but this was the first one I've got this year so congrats for being #1 in 2023. I didn't hate the premise of the book, I can tolerate the system with a personality but the stupid choices of the MC were a deal breaker for me. Now let's look at why I remove it so quickly as of 4 complete chapters and one incomplete 5th one. Right from the start we notice that this is the typical "I will save everyone I can." Captain America/Spiderman type hero and later in he gets reincarnated? No it's transmigrated? Scręw it I'll go with reincarnation and a doctor immediately shows up, not giving time for the MC to cope with his death, not that it seemed he needed with how he moved on too fast from that. The first dialogue was forced and rushed and you could see that the author wanted to move along with the story and introduce the system. The next 4 chapters are basically him learning to use and interact with the system. When the system is introduced we learn that stats are not a thing (even though it later said that the Super Soldier Serum enhanced his stats) which made and didn't make sense. Some people will use Wolverine and Deadpool as to explain how stats aren't everything and that's true but quantifying a person's abilities is a great boon. Wolverine could be as strong as Steve(It's an example not fact, I believe he's stronger) but his powers, abilities and skills are what would tip the scale. In this case while both could have 100 STR(Strength) and 100 END(Endurance) Wolverines adamantium bones, his Hyper Regeneration(Don't know if that's the one he has) and his instinctual combat style would give give him the edge. Same with Tony who is a Base human but due to his armor he is more powerful so. even if two people have the same stats it wouldn't be the same depending on the advantage each have so I don't see why stats couldn't be a thing. He could use someone's stats as a goal to achieve and possibly surpass. Then there where no Levels... Makes sense if we go by the route that Levels are based on exp(experience) that would be what a person has... you guessed it, experienced. A homeless person could have more experience than someone living in a house because of what they both experience daily and not because of skills. Knowing how to count and having been robbed are both have different degrees of impact on a person so the experience would be different but it's not necessary to see levels. NOW THE MOMENT WHERE YOU G MASTER MC SHOWS HIS BRILLIANCE! ALL SHALL BOW TO THE SUPREME ...Policeman. The system explained to the MC about it's functions like the store, inventory and all that. But it did not mention how to replenish the currency of the Shop(Marvel Points/MP) so when given the change to shop in the various sections of the store the recently "reincarnated" MC decides to get Medicine which is normal but instead of having some points left "For emergency" he decided that he'll spend it all on medicine and disregarding Weapons, knowledge, skills, powers and all that. The final straw was when the MC was given a quest, with no repercussions to choose if he wants to be a Hero or a Villain and regardless of his choice he'd get 500MP if I'm not mistaken and in his infinite wisdom the MC decides to become a Policeman losing his reward and "completing" the quest. And even the system said that it was stupid and that he could have chosen Hero route and becoming a Policeman but the MC smartly tells the system to "Shut it!" so he doesn't question his choices... And why did the brilliant MC do that? Because he wants to help the little guy and do it by the law... Dude if you wanted to help and follow the law you could've gone all Daredevil and become a lawyer, fighting against corruption, helping people who suffer because of the corrupt upper echelon, protect the defenseless using said law and fighting the good fight at night or even during his off times as a hero but no. I want to be a cop, something that has been shown in any country to have corruption in it and most of the times the upper echelon has the bosses if the police department in their pockets. I really wondered why this story got lots of powerstones but then I remembered... this is WebNovel, logic doesn't work here. Anyway thank you all for seeing my review, sorry to all those I offended while voicing my opinion specially the author but I feel that for a book I saw a lot of potential the way it was playing out was disappointing. Like they say "each to their own" so I'm sure some people are loving it so that means at least you got what you wanted, people who liked your work. Tastes are subjective and unfortunately I'm one of those who didn't like it. Which you luck on your journey as a writer and keep writing what you want...(even if it's not something I liked but still).
