At most he'd manage to change magical guardians who could give him said autonomy but with the stagnant and corrupt ministry of magic who are probably in Dumbledore and/or Malfoy's pockets that wouldn't happen. You know you're talking about an 11 year old boy right? no matter his past life or his mental age he is viewed as a child and no one will ever let an 11 year old orphan be emancipated even if he's mature and a wizard. Also why would the British ministry of magic who has legal "custody" over him send him to a non British wizarding school?

You do know that he was in a pack and could interaction with people there right? There was a whole time skip and you're going to say he "got out of his apathy"/"interacts more" because of one year/season at his new school instead of the people who took care of him for years and tried to make him open up?

The thing about making OC love interests or making lots of OCs in a story it's that fans/readers don't like it. And the reasons is that if you're using an existing world in fiction you should use the things there, if you want to make the OCs work you'll have to make them related or connected to existing characters so it doesn't ruin the "immersion" so to speak.

I know with mana sense it seems redundant but considering that some "monsters" might be hidden bellow ground it could help out or even in cases of the cases he needs to sense things without mana... line a boulder going his way like Indiana Jones or an avalanche?
Upon my return to the city, I began training. However, I also took some time to wander around Orario each day as well to increase my familiarity with even the less traveled parts of the city. As the days went by, I got better and better at navigating the city, although the city was so massive that it would take me weeks, if not months, to get familiar with every single nook and cranny. I contented myself with learning the main roadways and main alleyways for the time being whenever I wasn't training magic, skills, or arts.
