What I meant by Cliché, Is that he’s not going to learn Magic or Start experimenting on himself to give himself Wolfverines powers or something. But i do agree i would like to see a Peter Parker who breaks the mold, but personally I find Spider-man is one of the best aspects of Peter Parker.

Meh, after years of reading fanfics it really is boring and cliche to read about 'spider man', old readers including me want a different Peter Parker, not the one we all love from the movies the Peter Parker with the hero complex, we want something outside of that stereotype, he doesn't have to be a villain, he can be an anti-hero, which is much more attractive than a spider man with a hero complex

I write this because I was about to start reading but if it is the same Peter Parker with a hero complex he instantly loses his appeal, if I want to see classic Spiderman I would watch the movies and I wouldn't be here reading fanfics

Most of the spiderman fanfics I see are either anti hero or morally grey.

but thats the most interesting stuff, most marvel stuff is some cliche cheat or really broken mutation which just ends in the mc collecting powers like pokemon and never really using them.

Hey man I'm starting to writing one, it's under something something mind. I am starting the plot of it.

In my experience those are the two options. Hero spiderman or guy making his excuses and then sliding into murderhobo behavior the rest of the story. I'll save them- I am not so naive to let you go.
