Thirty-something chapters in and I am finally comfortable in giving it a definitive seal of approval. Beginning may seem a bit copypasted with some tiny new bits and pieces added, but thankfully it eventually wildly diverges from the original plot into a different direction and fully becomes its own story. A solid read, truly.

LIKEDjabilong:So far there were around five or six characters who basically thrown themselves at Momo all but screaming at him to rail them, and basically every time his reaction was to either play the "40y.o. man written like a 14y.o. virgin" trope and run away (still doing it to Albedo for over 250+ chaps), or outright say "that's cool", then *personally* hand them away to others (with Leinas brainwashed and given to Shalty as strаp-on warmer, Evileye being deceived into jumping on Pandora Actor's spindly noodle because she erroneously believes him to be Momon after real Momo-chan pulled a switcheroo on her, <...>). I would have zero problems if he just had the balls to say a firm "yes" or "no", but apparently author thinks that "humanity" equals "being a scaredy emo boy who runs from any conflict, inconvenience, personal responsibility, blames himself for everything unrelated to him, fails at basic communication and plays the victim". Story as a whole is amazing; this version of Ainz isn't.
Wait, what? did the female characters get into a relationship with some else besides the MC? I'm confused lol
Djabilong:UPD: remember that "harem" tag? Well actually, everyone *but* Momonga (to the point of some girl getting snatched from him) is getting some. Very, VERY frequently. And yet the first lemon he gets is by chapter 99 - but even then it turns out to be just a dream. It's drier than a desert in here.image
UPD2: (up to ch.200) canon is fully and utterly thrown out the window, basically everything is either a wild variation of what once was, or completely new content. Everything is great with (ironically) sole exception of parts centered around whiny baby Ainz's POV. Even the OCs are somehow twenty times better written and a thousand times less annoying.

Bro, if you are still reading this story please could you tell me if the protagonist had any development in relation to all emotional drama, because honestly I'm reading chapter 150 and I'm already tired of all this drama, the other characters present in this story have much more development than the protagonist himself, and seeing your comment about him, even after more than 250 chapters he remains the same in relation to Albedo, I would like to know if it improves because honestly I'm losing the motivation to read this story.

Lol no. After getting together with Albedo Ainz becomes a non-entity who appears every twenty chapters to repeat several copypasted actions (bang Albedo off-screen, have his d verbally sucked by the peanut gallery xianxia story -style, and that's it). However, somehow the story is treated like a zero-sum game by the author, so Ainz and Albedo 's place is immediately taken over by the Slain Theocracy cardinal and his OC girlfriend elf who carry on doing the exact same teenage drama nonsense that Ainz was doing since chapter one. It's frankly obnoxious.

Thanks bro, now I know I won't be able to read this story, you saved me from wasting my time on something I know I won't like. Some people may argue that all this drama is for character development, but honestly everything has limits and this author in my point of view exaggerated. Also in the chapter I'm in I'm already kind of annoyed with the fact that Ainz doesn't appear for several chapters, and when he appears it's just to be moaning like an emotional teenager, it doesn't even seem like he was a man over 30 years old old, who had a hard job. Sincerely thank you very much.

I solved the same problem that you face that way as well 😂. Anyway, I’m surprised you still keep reading this to be honest since this story became outright trash in my opinion. 👀

It has its moments as long as you do the smart thing and start to outright skip the bad parts. Unfortunately that means about 40% of all chapters.

I wonder why the Author made the mc that way. Sure "humanity" has "emotions" but why make him a whiny kid then? Even side characters are more likable than the mc that keeps deteriorating as the chapters go on

was reading it with the hopes of a good story and the writing was really good, i was hoping to see ainz and lupusregina, getting together or something perhaps. and even a harem but it seems like it's going to be another one .of those where author throw all the female charchters away. sigh~
