Honestly I feel you my dude. The Katana is so fu**ing over hyped because of anime culture that i started hating ever time i see a mc using it in a western setting just because it is coooool. But giving a 1 star review just for that, really dude.

I agree that sometimes it doesn't match, but in the Black Clover anime and manga the captain of the black bulls Yami uses a katana too, so the protagonist using a katana doesn't take away the immersion.

It doesn't matter where he came from, what I meant by my comment is that because there is a canon character using a katana, the fact that the protagonist uses a katana doesn't take away the immersion, which would be the case if there was no character using this one type weapon.

I think writing a story is quite difficult, so please don't give a low rating just because of trivial things like that.

Actually that Limited Zero Over, i use that pfp before he became Muramasa. There are different between MC using sword and project magic sword XD. Using sword mean MC relied on sword and have to carry sword, losing one meant you lost over half of your effectiveness in battle and it was so common in fiction for mc to use sword. However, Emiya Shirou (Limited Zero over is Shirou mature form as magus) projected sword with magical power, and it's not only limit to sword but close range weapon as well like spear, dagger that can do more than just sword can. Even if somehow he lost it, he can keep project his weapon, so unless they seal his magic, his effectiveness is never lost. Worst, he can get EXP from the weapon he use as well, so he has limit mastery over it. Depend on writer, he can be master of all close range weapon and adapt to any situation. Who say he can't project sword that heal, spear that inflict killing curse.
