Cant do much about writing quality, character design are up to the author so cant do anything there. It is assumed that reader has world knowledge, (also people dont like explaining worlds and background, the description is provided in wikis, so no need for repetition.)

Just to clear things up; Author will not stop uploading on webnovel. The chapters will be uploaded to some other site like scribble and then chapters will be updated simultaneously, now this is not confirmed yet.
