LIKEThat's a complicated question. Helix's magic class summons non-lethal illusions. Naturally that means that he's reliant upon his ingenuity and charisma. But... he's the protagonist. So naturally he has both of those things in abundance.
DoubleFacedManX_69:will he become OP in the long run?
He's a anti-hero(?). Honestly, he just wants to be left alone. He's not evil, but what he does at the end of the second arc permanently slashes him out of the [hero] competition. It's ruthless on multiple fronts and temporarily wins anti-hero status. However, here's a quote from when things turn [twisted], and answers your larger question. "I'm not a hero ... I'm just a normal student that's suppose to start college next month. I resent being here, let alone solving your problems. But knowing that everyone will get slaughtered, and that my women and I are the [only] people that can stop it, haunts me. Some people are callus and say it's the way of the world. They say ... [cultivator mindset] ... I'm not one of those people. [I don't want your deaths eating away our happiness and feasting on our souls]." Keep in mind this quote refers to a calamity, not getting involved in a mugging, and it's [selfish] not heroic. In conclusion, he's not nice to his enemies, but he's not a callus sociopath. Hope this answers your question and sets expectations.
Aaron_Aguilera_2568:Evil mc or antiheromc?

One of the girls dies. Only one. The novel is a victim of its own success. I created a character that's abnormally beloved and so her death cuts something savage. The novel's a satire. While countless concepts are funny, there are others that aren't. Light novels treat death without value and treat massacres as [necessary]. This novel reminds people that life has value and arbitrary killing is disturbing and has consequences by killing a beloved character at the hands of the delusional tropes. Once again, it's a satire. I'm writing a cultivation novel, so it's not like I hate the tropes. This novel only points out web novel tropes are entertainment and shouldn't be attached to the real world. It was an absurd mistake for so many reasons and only showcases the mistakes from my first attempt at writing. Hope that helps!
Rionn:Could you pleasd spoil me about the thing that mads others drop the series? Did one of his girls die or get raped or something?
