Harem does have a place in some reading fantasies, it maybe not one persons genre of choice, however it can make some stories great.

I 100% agree. I suppose people became somewhat distrustful of this plot. But I've seen some pretty darn amazing stories out there where there is no awkward in the relationship. Usually, it's the heroine rebirth and getting MC as a pet though. (Sadly) Wish we could have a normal girl for once where the plot works...

Actually, one of the things that annoys me the most is howmost harem novels have a beta MC. They basically always simp over their women and are trampled all over by them. And being a simp is the epitome of a beta character. I'm not opposed to harems btw, they actually made up the majority of the novels I read (just because they generally make romance a more major aspect of the novels, even if poorly done) . I just hate how most of them seem to be written by masochists.

Overall considering the quality of books in the trial read, this one is better than trash. The mc is OP and the plot is just a typical copy. (For example - arrogant young master lusting over the mc's companion and then getting angry over small things and in conclusion fighting the mc) Till now (20chps) there is almost no information about the real world background other than him living in the typical "dragon country". ….................................................................. Rating - I suggest just reading it as a light/fun read.

harem? really? those are actually difficult to write in a non immersion breaking way. It's usually not believeable in execution and often drags the novel down. Also, even if your pets are humanoid, it's still messed up to do things like that with them.
