The story seemed interesting from what I could decipher. I originally thought this was a translation that was just bad. Turns out it's just an author who does not have a solid grasp on the English language and is missing an editor. I do like the concept of the novel and the FL and her family seems interesting, but the flaws are very glaring. The FL is called by three different names, the ML by two maybe his feels the most consistent. Their kid is a ball, the group, or comrade. I'm not even sure of the gender of the kid since the pronouns change every other sentence. Some sentences make no sense at all, and it took me far too long to understand the smell she had wasn't from being too dirty, but from excessive body odor. It's frustrating and makes me feel the same way I did about the Alice in the Heart game that came out a while ago for the phone. Promising but I'm not spending money on a "finished" product I have to decipher. Coins aren't cheap and I read for entertainment not to be frustrated trying to interpret the authors meaning. If the author could get an editor or proofreader I would happily come back and try this novel again. I like the concept but I just can't stand the grammar.

thanks for the warning. I'm happy I read reviews before I start a book. I have a very strong belief that the point of words and writing is to be understood. If an author can't make their words be understood, then it's bad writing. If a translator does a terrible job, then they did a great sin and ruined an otherwise great story. Thus, if I can't clearly understand what's going on, I don't care how intricate or creative the plot is; I'm not reading it.

Yes, I also started reading this one but the English is really terrible. Sometimes I cannot even understand some segments. it's a shame because from what I have read so far the plot is good. And yes, coins are expensive so I am giving up this one. Too much of a headache to decipher.

I really liked the plot so I started reading it since it was free. Unfortunately, I couldn't get to chapter past chapter 10 (not sure I even made it that far) because of the grammar. I didn't check the reviews until I couldn't take it anymore only to find out that it stays consistently bad. I really hope the author can get a translator and editor because I really think this will be a good novel...once it's fixed. Right now there are just too many problems to keep trying to read it.

This book might end up being okay but the author needs to have some sort of editing done in order for the book to be enjoyable .This book is difficult to interpret. The pronouns are used so interchangeably that it is difficult to distinguish who is being talked about and who is doing the action. Quite a few sentences are nonsensical. I would be glad to read this book in the future if the author states that the book has been edited and retranslated and edited a second time.

it is hilariously, horribly translated. it's fun with the right attitude, but maddening. it seems like whoever just ran something through a translating app or Google translate, and didn't check if it was at all correct. there's another story exactly like this one that is better written, except that it has 3 brothers who bought an ugly wife who gets transmigrated from the future who was originally a deaf assassin. the name is escaping me at the moment..

it definitely seems like Google translate was used for some words... and the pronouns are all screwed up, women are he and men are she

The Farm Girl's Charismatic Fortune

By Xishui River, there lived a family with the surname Ruo, whose luck was so disastrously poor that it was as if misfortune was possessed by their very souls. When other families had bountiful harvests, the Ruo Family harvested not a single grain. Their planted vegetables were devoured by insects, their chickens got chicken plague, their pigs got swine fever… Despite the household being full of strong men, they were either mad, crippled, or blind… What would have been a family of great prospects became the poorest within ten miles. The only thing that others envied about the Ruo Family was its thriving male members! The old lady of the Ruo Family had given birth to six sons, who then gave her four grandsons. She dreamt day and night of having a granddaughter. When she finally got a grandchild, to her dismay, the child was mentally disabled: at over three years old, she still couldn’t speak or walk, couldn’t even eat or relieve herself without help. Everyone thought the Ruo Family would never turn their fortunes around in this lifetime! That was until the half-old three-year-old mentally disabled child suddenly called out, “Mom…” The heavens began to change. The world began to turn mysterious. In the Ruo Family’s courtyard, the persimmons ripened overnight. The vegetables in the fields, nearly nibbled bare by insects, turned lush and green. The old hen that had never laid eggs suddenly started laying… While others faced famine, the Ruo Family’s granary was full. The eldest son was no longer mad, the second son was no longer crippled, the third son was no longer blind… The old lady of the Ruo Family, with her hands on her hips, laughed heartily to the sky, “Who says my Xuanbao is a dimwit? She’s clearly a treasure of blessings!” (This is a farming novel with a hint of fairy charm, where the female protagonist in a previous life was a just-awakened daylily that has reincarnated as a human.)
