This story is basically the T.V. show written down scene by scene. The reincarnated character is already extremely OP before the story even starts. The character actions are so insignificant to the story that if he was removed nothing would change. Not even the dialog changes because he's there. The author probably sits in front of his screen watching the show and just writing whatever he sees.

And why is that so enjoyable if I may ask? Do whatever you like, but why is writing the original show with no changes your go to choice instead of writing your own Alternative Universe of it or rewatching the show?

You might as well check out my fanfics. They have good pacing but some readers complained and wanted an overpowered MC right from the start... I have that, its a Doom Slayer fic, but the rest are well paced, enjoy.

The mix of present tense, third person, and simplistic prose makes it seem like more of a list of events, rather than an actual story. The cheats/3 wishes granted are totally world breaking and undermine any effort made by the characters. There isn't much character development, and there isn't even much dialogue, and what little there is is false and unnatural. I'm not keen, but good luck with your novel.

the author basically added the mc into the original twd plot. The story follows 90% of the canon changing few things because of the small actions of the mc. I don't like the way the author writes, it seems more like a record of events, very few dialogues and the ones that have are the same as in the original series. Anyway, this is my opinion after 20 chapters, I will continue reading because I hope that this ff improves and there are not many ff with twd theme.

Well, this story should be taken with great care and patience. The good thing is that ... I don't know, the MC saves some characters and maybe changes in the future for something better? .... and well the bad, at least for 12 chapters it is only a summary of the series, with a character in the background that only says a few sentences and that's all, literally the character does not matter and is even ignored and forgotten by others (the Mc until he wonders why they ignore him), as an example when rick finds the bicycle, he abandons Mc. And the Mc runs after him until he reaches his house ... and the atlanta bow literally passes from his face. the worst thing is that after chapter 12 he kind of remembers that he can do something and it is a 180 °. Alone and out of nowhere with things that he didn't use in the middle of the chapters, he deletes 30,000 zombies. (lightsabers, nanotechnology, super cars) I do not know the author's plans, but if it is taken as a parody it is a good comedy story, you know to pass the time, after all the story does not take itself seriously. I recommend reading it, but taking into account that it is better not to expect great things and as a recommendation for the author, a story can suck in the world background as long as the protagonist is interesting, so developing the Mc is important and urgent, after all only the name of the character and other information that does not say anything about him is known. go ahead author and don't let the story fall.

Read 6 chapters so far. Very satisfying to be immersed in TWD universe again, but inserting a new character with god given magical powers feels like a distraction. I have to ask why this was written. What is the point? I don't mean this negatively, but I am honestly curious. Will read more to see how John is woven into the plot. Hoping the story takes on a new life of its own... Keep up the good work.
