What I like most of this novel is how well-thought out it is. What I noticed, while some novels tend to focus fully on the transmigrated life of the MC this novel spends some time to give details of the MCs past life in the way that it adds colour to the MCs character and not just glossed over. Other details can also be seen at various points of the story like some side characters' backstory and design without making it too overwhelming or shoving it into the readers' throat. The romantic development is very much realistic and logical like the pace the progress and how it starts all are very much convincing. Language: I like the effort author puts into the archaic language, Chinese poems and terms though there are some terms that I find quite awkward. While there are some minor grammar mistakes here and there sometimes it doesn't really impede reading experience much. All in all, it's one of the gems in this platform that I very much recommend. There's romance, humor some drama with a dash of angst and a cup of b*tchslaps, what more do you ask for?

Thank you very much for taking the time to write me this lovely, detailed review! <3 I'm really happy that you've enjoyed the novel so far and will continue to work hard on the future chapters. Thank you also for the feedback, I do agree that a couple of the translated terms are superrr clunky lol. I am constantly reviewing them so if and when I do find a better one, I announce an edit for it and go back and change things. This might be a little jarring for readers but as I am hoping that everyone buying these chapters will be able to have a good end product once the novel is completed, please bear with me. xD As for the minor grammar mistakes, I apologise for them and am glad that they haven't impeded your reading experience too much! These chapters have only had a quick grammarly check run through them for now and I really need to go back and comb through for the things that the software has missed. At present, I don't really have the spare time to do this at the same time as write but hopefully will be able to schedule it in soon. Feedback noted though! <3 Once again, thank you for the constructive criticism, kind words, and recommendation. I hope to see you around! <3

This reads like a professionally published novel 🥰 I’m fairly new to WN, but I’ve taken a few looks around and read the first 40 chapters of enough books to know that this is one of the most well written stories in WN. Besides the level of technical writing, the plot is sensical; intricate; holds enough back to keep you guessing, but reveals enough to make the progression satisfying; and feels like it is actually challenging for the character to overcome. I feel a real sense of danger and tension in the air, not just for the main character, but the side couples, too. The characterization can be described by those adjectives above 😂 and also the characters feel well rounded and intimate, so Reader feels connected to and invested in Yan Zheyun’s struggles, as well as those of his friends and a certain ML 😏😍 (<—that’s all I say about him *coughs* *blushes* *grins* *puts two thumbs up*) The world is deep and not there just to serve the MC; it’s beautifully rendered for us to sink into. No one is OP, so everyone has to play the game and maneuver with words and actions. I could wax poetical about it, but I would rather go read atm 😁 (can you blame me?). I’ll just share that I keep thinking of this story, no matter how many others I read while waiting for chapter releases, so I‘m going to have to reread this from the start soon (you’ll see my commentary along the way 😉) and continue to give all my golden tickets to this book. It really deserves it! Go read it! You’ll be like that one GIF that you always see when you open up the GIF tab:

College was like a wake-up call for most people. Especially the likes of Christopher Owen, who spent the rest of his high school years messing around and pining for the boy he never had. Having had a frustrating high school year, he decided to dedicate himself to his studies in college.   He flew many miles away from home, changed his looks, and hid his real identity from everyone.  His plans were simple: study hard, pass well, no dating. But then he realized two things: life was anything but easy without the backing of his last name. And... he wasn't sure how long he could last before he jumped his roommate, who was obviously not gay. But lust wasn't love, right? Maybe he could indulge a little? Just a little, I promise. ***** EXCERPT: "THAT ARROGANT, GOOD FOR NOTHING, DEMONIC IDIOT! I HATE HIM SO MUCH!" "O-kay... what is going on?" A friend asked him, watching as he paced around the room he just entered. "After battling for a long time. A LONG TIME!" he breathed heavily before continuing, "I... I confessed to him today." The other sat up, eyes wide. "For real?" "And then... with that stupid lollipop in his mouth, he just looked at me and said Okay. OKAY!" Gasps. "I didn't even know people said "okay" to love confessions, but he said "okay" to me!" -- Meanwhile, while he was there panicking, the one who had been confessed to remained seated where he was in the room. He had not moved an inch from that position since he got confessed to. But if one looked closely, they would notice how red his face was, up to the tips of his ears. He suddenly chuckled to himself. "That idiot," he muttered, looking at the door the other had taken.

The Rejected Alpha's Vengeance

[COMPLETE || WARNING: MATURE CONTENT 21+ // Watch Me Burn Them For You] "And if someday you see me, remember to forget my name, or karma will bow." **** For Awuor’s power, her people had done the unthinkable, in the history of werewolves. Her beta and brother, Dom, murdered their mother, the Sicario luna and blamed it on Awuor. In his grief, her father didn't bother to try and find out the truth, instead, for murdering her mother, he gave his daughter the worst punishment any alpha could ever get. He banished her from home, but Awuor’s wasn’t the usual banishment. Her father neither stripped her of the alpha title, nor did he make her a rogue. Instead, Alpha Sicario forced Awuor to be an exiled alpha, a woman so powerful, but with no one to rule over. Her mate, Jer, a power-hungry bastard, stepped up to rule the Sicario pack, since Awuor, the reigning alpha, was away, and Jer never once sought her out. Just like everyone else, he had betrayed her when he claimed a different woman, without rejecting Awuor. As the gates of Sicario closed on her, as her people watched her in disgust and disappointment, the daughter of Sicario had just one thought. A PROMISE of destruction & vengeance; she would ruin them all. *** [EXCERPT] "Either you're from the Dawson pack, the Bluemoon pack, or the Sicario pack, because you're definitely not from our Greyson pack. You must have done something really stupid for your alphas to banish you, even though you have no scent of the ferals. "So that could mean you're not a feral, but you're certainly not that important to your people. You seem to have an attitude and reek of power, that's why you don't appreciate anyone talking to you like a regular wolf. "But all of that doesn't matter right now, because you are the unwanted little wolf. The girl without a home, the rejected wolf who can't be claimed by anyone else. You're dressed in banana leaves because you have no clue how to make proper clothing on your own. "— or even check the feral cloth reservoir on the west of this forest. The fact that you have stayed so close to the other three packs is because you don't want to be away from home and are somehow hoping that they'd want you back. "Allow me to spell it out for you and make it easier for your probably useless brain to understand, little wolf, no one wants you. I'm only taking you to my alpha because your presence here is a nuisance to us, and for some reason, the alpha is interested in you. "And before you get any ideas about mates and whatnot, our alpha is already mated. So will you get up on your own, or do we have to take you stripped? Because I for one have no problem doing that. We could just treat you like the rogue that you're not," Adolf said to Awuor who still had her angry smirk on.

My Dear Duke(BL)

On his 20th birthday, Asher's mother confessed something he never expected. After the truth was revealed, she died giving her last blessing to him. That's when Asher found himself all alone, confused about his own identity and worrying about his future. What did she say? -He was someone special? -Someone people would come after? She said he was coming from a very rare but also a very special race called omega where men could get pregnant. Was it real? At first, Asher strictly refused to accept his mother's confession. But in the end, he had to believe it. Because it was the bitter truth. If he was really coming from such a rare race, and had such a special body, did he have to live all his life hiding so he wouldn't get caught and become someone's plaything? Was that the only way to avoid getting the bad ending his father got? Why was he even born as someone like this?! He just wanted a peaceful life. So, it wouldn't be as dangerous as his mother said if he just forgot he was special and lived like a normal person, right? People would not notice. Alas, it's been a long time since people last saw an omega and they must be believing no omega exists now. At least that's what he thought... He thought people might have forgotten about his existence and he would not have to face any problems in the future.  Whether he was special or not, he still became a target. When he was kidnapped and auctioned as a slave, he regretted ignoring his mother's last advice. "Don't trust anyone easily. Your safety is in your hands and protecting yourself is your duty." He could only blame himself and expect for the worst if his special identity was to get revealed and meet the same end as his father did. However, his fate gave him a second chance along with a huge surprise which changed his life for the better. Hopefully, Asher was saved by the so-called 'bloodthirsty monster' duke and brought to his mansion to babysit his spoiled 10-year-old little sister who threw tantrums declaring she wants Asher to pat her head and comfort her. Just to babysit this adorable, little girl.  He was safe. His secret was also secured within himself. Thanks to that chaotic sister and brother, Asher's life slowly took new turns and continued with almost no obstacles...till some point. The surprise? The duke happened to have some kind of a 'strange' illness that had no cure. Not long after when Asher discovered it, he ended up becoming the perfect cure for his illness. But how? -Remember? He was 'special'! Where would his specialty as an omega lead his life to? What kind of mysteries would he have to encounter with this duke wishing comfort from him?  Will the duke's 'strange' illness ever get healed? How would their story flow to that perfect happy ending with the twist of love landing in the middle of their 'just a deal'? ________________ Note:  This story continues in a historical timeline. Similar to omegaverse, but not the same omegaverse universe. Magic, revenge, dukes, royal families, curses, spells, heats, ruts... (The book cover is from Pinterest. Respect to the artist.)
