Unfortunately it's a translation of a Chinese novel. It was translated well the problem lies in the interaction of characters, they feel off because it's in USA but everyone acts like they are chinese or at least from a chinese novel.

It seems to be a translation of a Chinese fanfic, I can't be sure without the author confirming it because it's well translated. Unfortunately the characters seem to act based on Chinese society, even in the US, other than that the symbol used for lines (eg 'speech') is commonly used for thoughts in most novels/fanfics and this makes everything a little weird. Writing isn't very natural either. The story isn't engaging and doesn't feel realistic to read. It feels kind of artificial (it's hard to describe the feeling) it's not a quality issue but a writing style issue.

-The updates are good considering you have it set to a countdown…. -The story is kinda good -But the worst is the Chinese elements that don’t translate well into English Americans do not act like this at all….
