Its interesting but the mc is stupid as he doesnt cut ties with his family or does he think to create something that cam steal the clans trait and give it to him or better yet just look in to his dna and activate his clan traits if he doesn't know how steal the knowledge

in this point i also agree with you why he doesn't cut ties after being so humilated with her family seriously man just cut ties and go to other faction make them feel despaired

I partially view it as simple lack of care. he knows the reason he is being treated this way is stupid. From my point of view he simply has little care about their thoughts and feelings and simply sees their actions towards him as meaningless. He may be seen as trash but he has proven to himself and those he begins to interact with(Asgard, Youkai, etc.) that he is above those people in mind. Why would an individual as intelligent as him care about the opinion of those lesser than him in intelligence. Plus I think he simply wants to screw around with Grayfia and annoy the hell*pun not intended*out of her, I know I would in his situation(couldn't really get behind her character in the anime).
probably who wrote this story is Chinese author those guys had a massive ego being they are the top like china is great and how they will rule the world probably if they try to rule the world those other countries will just nuke them
after the bar was made he just said screw the plot at first didn't want to change it much I thought but with the game and bar it should change that for sure to some extent like the way story is going so far will be interesting to see if author keeps up the good work some story's were main char gets op author tends to lose interest in writing and drops hopefully that's not going to happen here at least everything seems to be going good I can only hope for the best
