Can't be peak if it has a cultivation tag. Peak would require an engaging storytelling without introducing foreign elements.

Only in terms of plot, not meta. It depends on the tastes of the reader how much and what is tolerable without killing the charm of the original. Some people have the taste of pigs; they can read anything.
